Chapter 333 We're Already Here

At the entrance of the Clark Villa.

Leo called Natalie from the car.

Natalie sounded groggy when she answered, "Hello?"

"Hey, it's Leo," he said, gripping the steering wheel. "Sorry to bother you, but Gabriel's had way too much to drink and we're parked outside your place. Could you come out for a minute? I'll get him out of your hair after that."

There was a few seconds of silence on the phone, and Natalie seemed to wake up.

Her voice was calm and deep, "You take him and get out of here!"

Leo was silent for a moment.

He struggled, "We're already here. If you don't come out, I'll leave him at the door. If he freezes to death, you'll be responsible!"

With that, he hung up the phone and patted his chest.

Talking to Natalie now required courage!

Leo dragged Gabriel out of the car and placed him in a very conspicuous spot at the entrance.

He hesitated, "Gabriel, I'm doing this for your own good. You better not retaliate against me later!"

After all, it was Gabriel who insisted on coming here.

With that, Leo drove away.

Natalie took a moment to process everything, then immediately ran to the balcony to look. Sure enough, a car was driving away.

She cursed under her breath, wondering if both of them were crazy.

Ulysses and her brothers were asleep, so Natalie carefully put on her shoes and went downstairs.

Outside, she saw Gabriel sitting there, looking dejected and downcast.

Natalie approached silently, her gaze indifferent and her voice cold.

"Gabriel, are you addicted to acting?"

Gabriel looked up, his eyes bloodshot and his eye sockets red, reeking of alcohol.

Natalie was somewhat surprised.

Gabriel, with red eyes, said, "I'm sorry, Natalie. If I had another chance, I would definitely remember you."

Natalie's chest tightened slightly, as if something had struck her, but she quickly calmed down.

Just as she was about to speak, she saw Gabriel collapse, falling into a deep sleep.

Natalie had been in a bad mood since she returned.

The old, dusty memories resurfaced, and the scars were vivid, each one inflicted by Gabriel.

How could she easily let go?

She had said countless times that she forgave him, but she was only forgiving her own wishful thinking.

She just didn't want to keep bringing up the past grievances and grudges; it seemed pointless.

But she admitted that whenever she thought of the past in the dead of night, it still tore her apart.

She had long regretted it!

She would rather be grazed by a stray bullet on the streets of Eldoria than be saved by a soldier named Gabriel.

That way, she wouldn't have fallen in love with him.

Natalie took a deep breath, her eyes involuntarily reddening. The dim streetlights cast long, overlapping shadows of them both.

When had Gabriel ever been this pathetic?

If it had been three years ago and he had gotten drunk for her, she would have laughed herself awake from a dream.

What a pity.

She gently wiped away the tears from the corners of her eyes, took a step forward, and spoke in a cold, indifferent tone.

"Gabriel, let's just call it even. Let's pretend we don't know each other."

Gabriel, on the ground, didn't move at all.

Natalie hesitated for a few seconds but decided to leave him be.

After taking two steps, she gritted her teeth, turned back, and kicked him in the waist.

Then she walked back inside without looking back and closed the door.

Leaning against the door, Natalie took out her phone and called Leo.

He had turned it off!

She then found Vincent's number, and he answered quickly.

"It's Natalie. Gabriel is drunk at my doorstep. If you don't want him to freeze to death, come and take him away, or I'll call the police."

With that, she hung up the phone.

In less than twenty minutes, Natalie saw from upstairs that Vincent's car had come and gone.
