Chapter 458 You Have No Chance

Jagger laughed, his eyes twinkling, lying effortlessly without a hint of embarrassment.

Natalie glanced at Gabriel, who held up a cotton candy, his gaze as gentle as a calm lake.

"Do you like it?"

Natalie looked at Gabriel with a puzzled expression. Cotton candy? That didn't seem like Gabriel's style at all.

Before she could react, Mike excitedly ran over.

"I love it! I love it!"

While everyone was still in shock, he grabbed the cotton candy and took a big bite.

"It's so sweet, but not very tasty!"

Mike clutched his cheek and ran to Natalie, looking pitiful.

"Natalie, my tooth hurts."

Gabriel's expression darkened with anger, but he had to soften his expression and speak gently, pretending to be kind.

"Be careful."

He had no choice. He was at a disadvantage now and couldn't afford to offend anyone around Natalie.

Natalie patted Mike's fluffy curls, knowing he was faking it, but didn't expose him.

"Then don't eat it."

Mike nodded.

"Only kids eat candy. Gabriel is so stingy. If you like it, Natalie, I'll make you a big cotton candy out of gold. You can look at it every day!"

Unlike Gabriel, he wasn't stingy at all.

Natalie was speechless and quickly refused.

"No, no, I don't like it."

Mike's generosity was something most people couldn't afford.

Natalie planned to get some water from her bag for him.

Gabriel looked at Mike's little face and smiled, his voice gentle.

He teased him on purpose.

"You like Natalie, don't you?"

"Yeah, so what?"

Mike crossed his arms, looking like an adult.

"I should congratulate you. Your dad and Natalie are together now, so you'll be her son."

Mike's face scrunched up in shock and anger.

"What?"

His little fists clenched.

Gabriel raised an eyebrow. "You didn't know? Your dad is pursuing her."

Just then, Robert walked over from the side, also holding a colorful cotton candy.

Identical.

Natalie turned around, surprised. Why was everyone so fixated on cotton candy?

Robert walked over, glanced at Mike, and smiled warmly at Natalie.

"I saw that Mr. Kensington's cotton candy for Ms. Clark was ruined by Mike. Sorry about that. Consider this an apology."

He handed the cotton candy to Natalie.

Gabriel's eyes narrowed, but he didn't react strongly.

Mike, however, angrily grabbed the cotton candy from Robert's hand.

He glared at Robert, his little face red with anger, full of caution and vigilance.

"Dad, Natalie doesn't like cotton candy!"

He might be a kid, but he was a smart kid.

Could Gabriel be telling the truth? Was Robert trying to pursue Natalie?

No way!

Natalie could only be his. Not even Robert could take her from him.

He shot Robert a fierce look and handed the cotton candy to Gabriel.

"You eat it."

He'd rather give it to Gabriel than let Robert have it.

Because he knew Natalie didn't like Gabriel.

Gabriel wasn't a threat to him.

Robert's expression didn't change, still smiling, but his eyes showed some surprise and confusion as he looked at Mike.

Mike felt that having Gabriel as a rival was bad enough. Once he inherited his fortune, he could be with Natalie openly.

But why was Robert getting involved?

Didn't he know that Natalie was his?
