Chapter 291 I Want to Fly the Plane Myself
Hearing the noise, Natalie frowned. "Is that Kelly?"
Yves raised an eyebrow. "You think so?"
He got up and went out. When he came back, he had Kelly, Mia, and Charlie in tow.
All three had red eyes. Kelly rushed over as soon as she saw Natalie. "Natalie!"
Mia tried to follow, but Yves held her back. "One at a time, don't mess with Natalie's wound!"
Mia stood there, worry written all over her face. "Are you hurt?"
Natalie patted Kelly's back and smiled at Mia. "I'm fine, almost healed!"
Charlie looked rough, thin, and unshaven. Seeing Natalie okay, he half-knelt by her bed and started crying.
Kelly, choking on her sobs, stayed quiet.
Mia, shocked, also stayed silent.
The sad vibe in the room lightened up a bit.
Ulysses couldn't ignore it anymore, so he got up, holding Starshadow, and walked out. As he stepped out, he muttered, "You'd think someone died."
Yves looked at the hysterically crying Charlie with frustration. He couldn't take it anymore and went out for some air.
Mia finally managed to pull Charlie up. "Why are you crying? Natalie's back safe and sound; you should be happy!"
Charlie clung to Natalie's sleeve, tears streaming down his face. "I thought you were dead, Natalie. You scared me so much."
Kelly sobbed, and everyone felt emotional, but Charlie was the first to break down.
"Natalie, you came back without telling us. We thought you were really gone. It's been awful!"
Natalie's nose tingled, and she sniffed, feeling guilty. "I'm sorry. I didn't want to scare you. I planned to find you after I recovered."
Even Mia, usually so cold and proud, couldn't help but shed tears. "It's okay, as long as you're back, Natalie!"
They kept asking what had happened. Natalie gave a general rundown, not hiding much.
It felt like those crazy experiences happened in another life.
Kelly and Mia got more interested as they listened, but Charlie sat silently, looking more and more down.
After finishing, Natalie lightly kicked him and frowned. "Charlie, why aren't you reacting?"
Charlie covered his face, looking lost, his voice filled with regret. "Why wasn't it me who saved you? Why was it Gabriel again?"
The room fell silent, so quiet you could hear a pin drop.
Mia glared at him, then blocked Natalie's view and changed the subject with a smile. "Felix exposed the video, and that's how we found out. You're famous now; reporters are looking for you everywhere!"
Using Mia's phone, Natalie went online. Sure enough, she was the center of attention.
Natalie pursed her lips, not too surprised. Felix had mentioned on the island that if they survived, she might appear in his video.
"Let Victor handle it. I bought a few private planes. I'm planning to learn how to fly!"
Flying on someone else's plane had risks. After what happened, she figured she might as well fly herself!
Kelly grinned. "That's so cool."
Mia looked worried. "Don't be impulsive."
