Kelly slammed the phone down without another word.
Natalie deleted the photos, and the comments vanished along with them.
Things quieted down a lot.
She didn't bother replying to each comment; Kelly would handle everything for her.
But the news about Natalie and Robert being together spread like wildfire, and the effect was swift and intense.
By evening, entertainment media back home started to expose the story: "Natalie's New Flame Revealed," "Natalie's New Flame's Identity Unknown."
The buzz and traffic surrounding Natalie were something many in the entertainment industry would die for. It seemed like anything involving Natalie was bound to go viral.
However, being abroad, she wasn't immediately aware of what was happening back home. By the time she heard about it, the discussions had already reached a fever pitch.
While Natalie was happily attending a class reunion abroad, the news of her new boyfriend had already spread nationwide.
After the reunion, Kelly called her, "You're trending again, did you know that?"
She sent over a bunch of screenshots.
They were all hot topics on social media, each one about Natalie's new boyfriend.
Natalie frowned. "I'll ask Jacob to take down the trending topics."
"No need, it's already been handled. By the time you react, it might be too late."
Kelly sounded like she was enjoying the drama.
Natalie asked, "Who helped out?"
"Of course, it was Gabriel. When he gives an order, no one dares to drag their feet. He can set things straight in no time!"
When Natalie walked in, she checked her phone. The trending topics were gone, as if they had never existed.
She calmly put her phone away and saw Jagger approaching, looking dejected.
"Jagger, what's wrong?"
Jagger looked exhausted. "Mr. Kensington's condition has worsened again. He can't even eat now. I'm worried something might happen to him."
Natalie frowned slightly.
Worsened again?
Jagger glanced at Natalie and sighed deeply.
"Ms. Clark, you probably don't know about the latest news back home, do you? Someone posted photos of you and Mr. Williams online, slandering your pure friendship. It's a blatant disrespect to your character and a challenge to your successful collaboration. Even as an outsider, I'm furious!"
Natalie looked up at him, speechless. Jagger's indignant expression made him look like a puffed-up toad.
"I already know."
Jagger sighed again.
"You must be upset. The netizens are speculating about your relationship. Mr. Kensington was worried you'd be angry and sad when you found out, and he was also concerned about the impact on Clark Group's stock. So, he immediately used the Kensington family's connections to suppress the trending topics."
"Men as considerate, thorough, and wealthy as Mr. Kensington are rare these days."
Natalie looked at Jagger, who couldn't help but ask, "Could you go see Mr. Kensington?"
"Go get a glass of milk."
"Okay!" Jagger's eyes lit up, and he quickly scurried off.
If he didn't prove useful soon, Mr. Kensington might throw him into the river.
Natalie calmly walked to Gabriel's room and knocked on the door.
There was no response.

Gabriel stood there, pale and leaning on a crutch, his lips devoid of color.
He stood there, holding up an IV bottle with one hand, struggling with the task.
Natalie was momentarily shocked.
