Chapter 413 Fickle Man

Natalie had a knack for hitting people where it hurt the most.

Especially when it came to Gabriel, it was like her favorite pastime!

After she spoke, she nudged the door with her toe, flashing Gabriel a casual, carefree smile.

"Good night, Mr. Kensington."

She didn't wait for his response and walked out.

She'd made herself clear. If he got it, great.

If he pretended not to, she'd find a way to make him understand.

His tricks were so outdated!

Gabriel's gaze was dark and troubled as he watched her leave, his body tense.

Her words cut through him like a knife. It hurt, but he couldn't complain; he had to take it.

He deserved it!

Robert's collaboration plan was finally set. The project was massive, focusing on the advanced development of artificial intelligence, centered around the partnership between Clark Group and ApexCorp.

ApexCorp's recent announcement of their AI project for intelligent pathology detection had received high praise both domestically and internationally, attracting numerous investors and making waves in the industry.

Clark Group and Kensington Group had nearly monopolized the AI market.

But they couldn't stop there. Any delay would allow other countries to surpass them, and losing control of core technology would mean losing their competitive edge.

So, Natalie proposed that Robert's collaboration plan should include ApexCorp's research partnership.

This would ensure ongoing innovation, and while they would share some of the profits, the long-term benefits outweighed the drawbacks.

Natalie came up with this plan and discussed it with Victor early in the morning. Victor had no objections.

Sharing the profits would reduce envy from others.

However, collaborating with ApexCorp inevitably involved Kensington Group...

But these concerns were unnecessary.

In terms of strength, Kensington Group's participation would be a bonus.

The morning breeze was cool and slightly damp.

Natalie chose a black fitted dress adorned with small pearls at the hem, striking a balance between elegance and liveliness, making her look bright and sharp.

As she descended the stairs, Jagger waved at her cheerfully.

"Ms. Clark, you look stunning today. Just now, with the sunlight on you, you looked like you stepped out of a painting."

Natalie was momentarily stunned, luckily holding onto the railing to avoid a fall.

Elijah stood nearby, expressionless and fierce, his lips slightly downturned, showing disdain for Jagger's flattery.

Gabriel sat at the dining table, dressed in black casual clothes, exuding a noble and cool demeanor, every gesture full of grace.

His face was calm and gentle, as if last night's unpleasantness had never happened.

Seeing her come down, Gabriel smiled faintly, "Morning."

Natalie raised an eyebrow. "Morning."

Men were indeed fickle.

Jagger's breakfast was abundant, delicate, and visually appealing, making it hard to resist.

He didn't mention last night's unpleasantness, and Natalie had no intention of bringing it up either.

After all, it was Gabriel who was upset.

She sat there, eagerly tasting each dish.

Suddenly, she remembered something and looked up at him.

"By the way, I saw Ms. Kensington while I was out shopping last night."

Gabriel's expression remained calm, without a hint of surprise, as if he already knew.

"I know, the store manager told me."

"Why was she there?"
