Chapter 294 About to Sell It to Him

Natalie froze up for a second, too late to dodge.

He was already right in front of her.

Pulling out the photo he always carried, he squinted and stared at the oil painting on the wall.

They were identical.

His face went pale. "How is this possible?"

Brian glanced at the photo in his hand, his voice cool. "Did you take this picture?"

Gabriel's face was serious, his eyes flicking over to Natalie, but she avoided his gaze.

Natalie's light makeup was flawless, and her pink dress hugged her curves, making her look stunning. She seemed less aloof than usual, with a touch more softness, making it hard to look away.

Gabriel's eyes darkened a bit. "Mr. Robinson, this photo..."

"I took it. When Natalie saved you, I was right across the street having coffee. This is my favorite piece. Do you want it?" Brian's words left Natalie no room to deny she was the person in the painting.

Natalie was furious. "Mr. Robinson, I asked first!"

He had just said he wouldn't sell it. If he was going to sell it, there should be an order of precedence.

Brian looked at Gabriel with a smile.

"I always sell things based on first impressions."

He had treated Aaliyah and Lillian the same way when they wanted a painting.

Gabriel's deep eyes held a hint of a flame, and he curled his lips. "I want it, Mr. Robinson. Name your price."

No amount was too much!

Brian's smile deepened, and he held up two fingers.

Gabriel didn't hesitate and turned to instruct Brad, who had followed him.

"Transfer twenty million dollars to Mr. Robinson immediately."

Brad was stunned. Twenty million dollars for a painting?

Even a priceless antique masterpiece wouldn't be worth that much.

Brian looked at Natalie with a smile. "Transfer it to her. After all, it's a painting of her."

Natalie was too angry to speak. Brian was crazy!

She couldn't stand to stay there for another second.

Just as she was about to leave, Felix sauntered over. "Natalie, so you were here. I've been looking for you."

"Gabriel, you're here too?"

Gabriel's face darkened when he saw Felix, especially when he heard him affectionately call her "Natalie," his eyes grew even colder.

The surrounding atmosphere unconsciously became tense.

Felix, however, casually walked over to Natalie, affectionately linking arms with her, a slight smile on his lips. "Natalie, after dinner, shall we go see a movie?"

The scene instantly fell into an awkward silence, and Brian's gaze was complicated. "And this is..."

Felix introduced himself openly, looking at Natalie with tender eyes. "I'm Felix, a comrade-in-arms with Natalie, closer than best friends."

Gabriel's face visibly darkened.

Brian nodded, sensing the tension, and quickly found an excuse to leave, leaving them staring at each other.

Gabriel's gaze was cold, his tone unfriendly. "Felix, you've got some nerve."

Felix looked at Gabriel with innocent eyes. "Gabriel, you two are divorced. Can't single people develop feelings for each other?"

It would have been better if he hadn't said that. The air around them turned deathly cold.

Brad, standing behind, signaled Felix to stop talking.

But Felix, seemingly fearless, pretended not to see.

Felix nonchalantly looked at Natalie. "Natalie, shall we go?"

Natalie nodded; she had long wanted to leave.

As the two turned to leave, Gabriel's chillingly cold voice came. "Felix, do you not want your studio anymore?"

Felix paused. "Gabriel, how can you threaten me?"

He wanted to say more but feared losing face in front of Natalie.

Holding back, he looked at Natalie.

"Natalie, you go ahead and eat. I'll join you in a bit."

Natalie didn't care about their business and disappeared in seconds.

Felix stood there, raising an eyebrow, looking nonchalant. "Gabriel, your threats are useless. Natalie doesn't care about you at all."

Gabriel took a step forward, his eyes filled with intimidating coldness.
