Chapter 84 Alyssa Cannot Be a Term of Our Negotiation

Clearly, Charlie drove here, but he shamelessly insisted that Natalie drive him back home.

Natalie reluctantly agreed. She got into the car and was just about to drive away when she saw a tall figure approaching.

Charlie restrained his smile, and his eyebrows slightly raised. "Gabriel, why are you everywhere?"

He walked right in front of them, neither too fast nor too slow, which was clear that he intended to say something.

Walking up to the car, Natalie felt a bit impatient. Gabriel knocked on the car window. She lowered her eyes, slightly curled her lips, and slowly rolled down the window.

"Gabriel, do you need anything?"

Gabriel's dark eyes were deep as he looked at her.

"Natalie, about those two conditions you mentioned..."

Natalie interrupted him, smiling, "It seems you've made your choice. Which one do you want?"

“Alyssa or the emerald ring, which one would it be?”

Gabriel's gaze darkened slightly. "Give me a change. Alyssa cannot be a term of our negotiation."

Hearing his words, Natalie's smile froze for a moment. She was grateful for the dim night, which concealed her dark and somber expression.

She thought, ‘Alyssa can't be a term of negotiation? It seems he really likes Alyssa. In Gabriel's heart, is Alyssa the only special existence?’

Even though she no longer cared about these things, it still easily hurt. The pain was all too familiar to her, something she had endured countless days and nights.

She thought to herself, ‘I have always been the only one whom Gabriel hurt.’

Suddenly, her right hand was held tightly by a warm and strong hand. She was startled for a moment and turned to look at Charlie. His eyebrows raised, and his eyes sparkled.

"It seems in your eyes, Alyssa is truly unique. I worry about your taste. If I were you, I'd rather blind myself."

Charlie's words calmed Natalie down. She paused, collected herself, and when she looked up again, her eyes were full of coldness and mockery. "Haven't you figured it out? The initiative is in my hands. You can only choose from the options I give you, not ask me to change for you."

She slowly rolled up the window, withdrew her gaze, stepped on the gas pedal, and sped into the night.

She never looked back at Gabriel again.

"Natalie, weren't you doing very cool inside? Why do you look so aggrieved now?"

Charlie grew up with her and could see through her thoughts at a glance. He immediately exposed her pretense, still holding her hand with a smile on his lips.

Natalie pulled her hand back and gave a self-deprecating smile. "It means I'm not really cool."

Charlie paused, reached out to rub her head, and said with a gentle voice, "Don't be afraid; I'm still here, right?"

Natalie smiled, collected her thoughts, and said in an indifferent voice, "Why would I be afraid? Only those who have gained will fear losing it. Those who have never gained fear nothing."

She would never give Gabriel another chance to hurt her.

He chose Alyssa, right?

Then, the emerald ring would be lost to him forever.

In the parking lot, Leo ran over, panting, and was surprised at Gabriel standing there like a statue.

"Weren't you going to test my new car? I was shivering in the cold. Why are you standing here?"

Gabriel's gaze was cold and dark. "It's nothing."

Leo breathed a sigh of relief, glanced around, and suddenly saw a dent in the car door next to him. He squatted down to touch it, both anxious and angry, feeling wronged!

He wished he could jump up and curse!

"My beloved car, it's been with me for less than three days. Which bastard did this? I must kill him!"
