Chapter 43 You Have No Shame

Without looking at Natalie's expression, Gabriel walked straight to Angela with an inexplicable coldness on his face.

"Is everything you just said true?"

He asked through gritted teeth.

Angela was somewhat flustered, biting her lip, not knowing how to respond.

She had grown up around her parents and wasn't very close to Gabriel, her biological older brother who had grown up abroad. After returning to the country, he became a famous business genius, exponentially expanding the wealth of the Kensington Group. As a member of the Kensington family, she became even more arrogant and reckless.

"Speak!" Gabriel demanded coldly and sternly as she hesitated.

At this moment, a crisp and cold chuckle came from behind him. It was Natalie laughing.

"Mr. Kensington, it's true."
She admitted that everyone around them looked at the two of them with complicated eyes, especially Natalie. They never imagined that behind Natalie's seemingly glamorous appearance, her past was so tragic.
Especially upon hearing Angela say it herself, they all understood that the rumors surrounding Gabriel and Natalie's divorce were indeed true.
They sighed one after another, realizing that life in a wealthy and influential family was not easy...
Gabriel's body stiffened, and his heart felt like it was being squeezed. He thought, 'So not only do my friends look down on her, but the entire Kensington family bullies her as well. And as Natalie's husband, I knew nothing about it!'
In their three years of marriage, he rarely came home. Every time he did, it was to discuss Alyssa's health condition with her and persuade her to willingly donate blood. He would also politely ask if she had enough money and then leave behind a bank card before leaving...
Gabriel thought, 'I always thought I was good to her. But I was only fooling myself. I actually owe her so much!'

At this moment, he didn't know how to face her.
Clenching his fist, Gabriel's whole body became tense.
Natalie, however, chuckled lightly, sounding pleasant but carrying a chilling undercurrent.
"Mr. Kensington, you can simply ask a servant at home to find out if these things are true. But even if they are, so what?"

What difference would it make if Gabriel found out?
Others acted based on his attitude. Every knife that stabbed Natalie had been handed over with Gabriel's consent!
So, what difference would it make if Gabriel knew now?
Gabriel was the least innocent person!
Because he had wounded her the most deeply!

Under the comfortable and bright lights, Natalie's face wore a bright smile, enchanting yet dangerous. But her beautiful eyes were filled with indifference.
She didn't compromise in the slightest.
"Mr. Gabriel, if all this is true, what are you planning to do? Make Mrs. Wendy and Ms. Angela kneel down and apologize to me? Have them serve me as maids, doing laundry and cooking? Or do you want to use money to get rid of this poor ex-wife of yours who had nothing when you married her?"

Everyone's gaze was surprised. They thought that at this point, they would apologize to each other and resolve this matter. But no one expected Natalie to dare to say such things...
With the wealth of the Kensington family, they didn't care if Gabriel's wife came from a rich or poor family. But in their world of the rich, competition was everywhere, just that no one would say it to someone's face.

The situation now couldn't be resolved peacefully!
"Apologize? Impossible!"

Angela remained stubborn and refused to admit defeat. She thought to herself, "So many people are watching us. Natalie wants me to apologize to her? That's absolutely impossible!"

She glared at Natalie and said, "I would rather die than apologize to you. You want me to kneel down and be your servant? Dream on!"

"Enough!" Gabriel pulled Angela back forcefully. His strength was powerful, and he accidentally bumped Angela against the railing. Angela's eyes filled with tears from the pain instantly.

But he didn't care at all, he turned his head directly to Natalie, his eyes filled with complicated emotions. He couldn't fulfill any of the conditions she mentioned.

Except for money!

But does Natalie care about money?

This was the first time Gabriel felt a sense of helplessness.

"Natalie, I..."

"Mr. Kensington, since you can't fulfill anything, stop pretending to feel guilty. Apologies are worthless. Do you still need to pretend to be pitiful? You have no shame, do you?"
