Chapter 254 Of Course, I'll Go
Oliver's body went rigid, and his face turned dark.
"How do you know?"
He thought he had been sneaky enough.
He had specifically targeted the smaller shareholders who joined the Clark Group later, buying up their shares. But somehow, he still got caught.
Natalie smirked. "My father built the Clark Group from the ground up; it's not an inheritance. Technically, there's no reason to share it with you. We haven't blown your cover because my dad values his bond with you. But if this keeps up, that bond's gonna snap."
Oliver was speechless, a flicker of regret in his eyes.
At this point, his initial anger had fizzled out.
Natalie handed him some printed photos. "Uncle Oliver, you don't want the Clark family's money ending up with Clara and Mary, do you?"
Oliver didn't say a word and turned to leave.
Natalie chuckled and sent a text to Ulysses: [You can come home now!]
Aaron looked at her, surprised. "Ms. Clark, should we bring Clara and Mary back?"
That huge chunk of money they took was almost all the assets of the Jackarta Branch.
Natalie raised an eyebrow. "No need, leave it to Uncle Oliver. He'll only feel satisfied if he does it himself."
He'd only realize how much he despised them if he caught them himself!
After this was sorted out, Victor couldn't stop praising her during the meeting.
Now everyone in the group knew about it. Natalie's decisive actions were nothing like a newbie in the workplace, undoubtedly reshaping how others perceived her.
At the Kensington Group, Gabriel had just come out of a meeting when Brad caught up to him.
"Mr. Kensington, the invitation list for the World Business Conference is out, and you're on it again. Do you need to clear your schedule?"
This kind of conference was a private gathering of the world's top entrepreneurs, not based on wealth.
What really mattered was one's influence in the global business world.
There were only a dozen or so spots worldwide, and many had only heard of it but never seen it in person.
Gabriel paused when he saw the fancy black and gold invitation in Brad's hand.
"Isn't it possible to invite a guest?"
Brad looked shocked.
As an introducer, some people brought a rising star in the business world to the conference each year.
But it was rare for them to bring a guest because the group's stability depended on a delicate balance of perspectives.
If someone came, someone else had to leave.
"Mr. Kensington, who do you want to bring?"
Leo?
He probably didn't have the qualifications.
Gabriel frowned slightly and gave him a deep look.
"Give the invitation to Natalie. Whether she goes or not is up to her."
His voice was a bit cold, and he went straight into his office after speaking.
Brad failed to guess Gabriel's thoughts correctly and almost wanted to beat his chest in frustration!
How could he be so stupid? Of course, it was Natalie. Who else?
Natalie's presence at this exclusive, high-level conference would guarantee the Clark family's continued success.
In the Clark Group's office, Natalie looked at the invitation in front of her. It didn't specify the invitee's name, but she could feel the weight of the invitation.
It was different from any conference she had attended before.
When she was studying and starting a business in Eldoria, she had heard of the mystery of this conference.
So many people tried to get in but couldn't.
Aaron looked at Natalie cautiously. She had been acting strange since Brad left.
"Ms. Clark, are you going or not? From Brad's tone, Mr. Kensington is definitely going to this conference."
"Of course, I'll go."
