Chapter 18 You’re in Trouble
Angela grabbed Gabriel's arm. "Gabriel, you have to help me. Is it true that Natalie is using your money to be with another man? That guy next to her is clearly not an ordinary relationship."
Gabriel forcefully pulled her off him, his tone icy as he said, "That man is Victor Clark from Wallege. You can't afford to mess with him."
He now began to suspect that reaching the point of divorce was not just his own problem but perhaps an issue with the entire Kensington family.
Angela froze. Although she hadn't met Victor, everyone in high society knew that Victor from Wallege was single, mysterious, and prestigious. How could Natalie be with him?
Angela was annoyed. Since her brother wouldn't help her, she had to seek help from someone else. She immediately made a phone call, "Leo, Natalie is bullying me. You have to help me."
In the office of the Clark Group building, Natalie was watching Victor make coffee for her. His movements were skillful and elegant. She received a call from Jacob, the president of Heggte Entertainment. "Natalie, I have received insider information that Ms. Kensington is hiring someone to secretly film you. Do you need help resolving this?"
Natalie slightly pursed her lips and smiled. Her gaze was indifferent. "No need. Let her film. It just saves me some publicity fees."
After hanging up the phone, Victor furrowed his brow slightly and paused his movements. "What's wrong?"
"Ms. Kensington is hiring someone to film me. Let her do as she pleases."
Victor didn't take it to heart. These tricks were all within controllable limits. He handed over the fragrant coffee he had brewed. "Be careful, it's hot."
Natalie accepted it with a smile, closed her eyes, and smelled the aroma of the coffee. "Your coffee is truly extraordinary. Even if you were to open a coffee shop, you would certainly become incredibly wealthy."
Victor sneered coldly and glanced at her helplessly. "Aside from you, no one can drink the coffee I make."
Natalie enthusiastically tasted the coffee and suddenly remembered something. "I will officially start my position tomorrow. Can you have Kelly be my vice president and help me for a few days?"
Victor nodded indifferently. "Do as you please, arrange it however you like."
Thinking of the way Kelly looked at Victor, Natalie actively sent her a message: [OK, officially starting work tomorrow.]
Kelly immediately replied: [Yes, Ms. Clark!]
Kelly came from a good background, and she proposed that the Clark Group help Natalie because she wanted her best friend and Victor to be together. Natalie wouldn't expose her, so she naturally wanted to see her best friend and Victor end up together.
Natalie felt much better and happily went to their appointment. The two of them decided to go to the Sound Bar, where they used to frequent.
The bar was lively and passionate, surrounded by noisy music. Waves of sound washed over them, immersing them in the atmosphere.
Kelly finally entered the Clark Group as she wished. Tonight, she let loose and started drinking. After a few drinks, she went up to dance. Both of these girls were beautiful and outstanding, naturally attracting attention. One was passionate and hot, while the other was calm and serene.
Kelly began to stutter, but she still wanted to continue drinking. Natalie was feeling a bit dizzy. She held Kelly's hand and said loudly, "Wait for me here, I'll be right back after going to the restroom."
Kelly waved her hand, reassuring her to go.
In just a few minutes, Natalie returned to see a tall man standing next to Kelly, and her face instantly darkened.
The man had already noticed these two single women and approached Kelly when he saw her alone. But he didn't expect Natalie to come back so soon. So he decided to hug Kelly and sneered at Natalie.
