Chapter 377 She is the First Choice

Listening to the conversation just now, it seemed like this dress had something to do with Mike's mom.

Natalie glanced at Mike, who blinked his big, sparkling eyes and immediately shook his head.

"No!"

Robert's eyes paused for a moment, then softened.

"It doesn't. It's just made by the same person, with a similar style and color. Please, go ahead."

Natalie didn't say much and followed them back.

Mike was taken out to eat.

Gabriel remained seated, his gaze fixed on them. When people around tried to strike up a conversation, he barely responded.

Robert sat at the head of the table, exuding a mysterious and powerful aura, somewhat similar to the strong and cold Gabriel beside him.

Seeing this, the three people nearby quickly came over and sat down.

This private dinner, though called a dinner, was more like a meeting.

It was a gathering of high-level executives with vested interests.

Everyone wanted to collaborate with Robert, but they all knew that no one here could compete with Kensington Group.

When Natalie arrived earlier, their hopes diminished even further.

Natalie sat to Gabriel's left, and the atmosphere became tense.

Robert paused, his voice warm and gentle, as if the earlier unpleasantness had never happened.

"The purpose of this dinner is twofold. First, to get to know each other. You are all influential figures in the business world, and my business expansion in the country will need your support. Second, I have a project that requires collaboration."

He was straightforward, as everyone had come for that project.

Robert's eyes swept over the crowd, finally resting on Natalie.

"But I don't know if Ms. Clark is interested in this project?"

Natalie paused, her demeanor calm and elegant.

"Clark Group has made ample preparations for this project."

Robert nodded, his manner gentle and humble.

"I wasn't aware of that beforehand. Now that I know, I can't let your preparations go to waste."

With that, the expression of those present changed dramatically.

Even Natalie was slightly surprised. She understood Robert's meaning.

Did she just get the project so easily?

It was unbelievable. Gabriel's gaze sharpened, his thin lips pressed tightly together, and the powerful aura around him seemed to lower the temperature.

A nearby executive couldn't help but ask, "Mr. Williams, the project hasn't undergone professional evaluation or rigorous testing. How can you just decide on Clark Group?"

His gaze towards Natalie was complex and strange.

Although Clark Group and Kensington Group were the strongest among them, it was rare for a project to have its partner decided before it was fully mature and implemented.

At this private dinner, they just wanted to gauge Robert's attitude. Even a vague response would be better than such a definitive decision.

Because this meant that once the news spread, all subsequent resources would be directed towards the Clark Group.

Robert smiled, his voice unwavering and coldly certain.

"Yes, as far as I'm concerned, if Ms. Clark wants it, she is always the first choice. She will always have the priority."

His words were like a bomb, silencing everyone around.

They secretly glanced at Gabriel, who was exuding a chilling aura.

Upon hearing this, Gabriel's expression turned extremely grim, losing his earlier composure.

His expression tightened, and his gaze pierced Robert with a bone-chilling coldness.
