Chapter 182 She Bought You a Gift

Soon enough, the news about Hannah spreading rumors online blew up. It was shocking because she was usually so low-key. But what really ticked people off was how she treated everyone like idiots. So, when she got into trouble, most folks were pretty happy about it.

Before long, all of Hannah's gigs were canceled, and she had to cough up a lot of money. She couldn't keep it quiet, so she had to come out and apologize. She recorded an apology video and announced she was leaving the entertainment industry to take over the family business.

With that, people started digging into Hannah's family background, and opinions were all over the place.

Natalie didn't expect Hannah to apologize so quickly. Instead of wearing out her fans' patience, she left some room to breathe. Smart move.

Before you knew it, it was Charlie's birthday. Every year, Mia and Kelly go all out trying to find the perfect, unique gift for him.

Natalie didn't stress about it; Charlie always said he loved whatever she got him. Kelly dragged Natalie to the mall, struggling to find a gift for Charlie but ending up buying a bunch of stuff for herself. She had it all sent to her place, and they kept shopping.

Natalie was eyeing a Patek Philippe watch, with a jaw-dropping price tag. It was luxurious and flashy, just like Charlie.

Who would've thought they'd bump into Angela and Leo?

It was awkward facing each other.

Leo spoke first, "Natalie, you're here too."

"Are you blind?" Kelly sneered.

Since Leo had apologized to Natalie last time, he'd been noticeably more subdued. He had no choice; his weakness was still in Natalie's hands, and with Eugene, that rich idiot, as a cautionary tale, he couldn't afford to piss her off!

Angela snorted, crossing her arms, clearly annoyed at the sight of Natalie.

Angela scoffed, "What are you doing here?"

"Is this place yours?" Kelly shot back, not backing down.

Natalie ignored them and pointed straight at the most expensive limited edition Patek Philippe. "Wrap this up."

She didn't even need to ask the price.

"Wait, we saw that first!" Angela quickly interjected.

Leo couldn't stop her in time.

"Ms. Kensington, the rule is simple: the first to pay secures it, clear?" Natalie smirked, her presence immediately dominating Angela.

Angela clenched her teeth in irritation, a sudden realization dawning on her, and she inquired, "Natalie, are you also purchasing a birthday present for my brother?"

Tension filled the air.

Leo's eyes widened in surprise. A realization struck him! Of course, why else would Natalie be shopping for a men's watch now?
Natalie was momentarily stunned. Angela's reminder suddenly made her realize.

Charlie and Gabriel's birthdays were just one day apart.

Had she only remembered Charlie's birthday?

Great!

She subconsciously smiled, satisfied.

Angela thought she had admitted it and seized the opportunity to mock her.

She sneered, "Don't even think about it. My brother won't invite you. Your gift will go to waste, so just give it to me."

Leo twitched his mouth and pulled Angela behind him. "Don't talk nonsense."

While Gabriel hadn't invited Natalie to his birthday celebrations in the past, who's to say what might happen this year?

Natalie turned to Angela, her gaze cold, and smiled slightly.

She scoffed, took out her card, and paid. "You want this? Then I definitely can't give it to you, especially since I dislike you."

Kelly stood nearby, arms crossed, observing the self-centered Angela with a sense of amusement. "Ms. Kensington, stop living in a fantasy. Natalie is back to her senses. Why would she rush to give Gabriel a gift?"

Natalie and Kelly leisurely left while Angela fumed behind them.

That particular Patek Philippe was the only one in the entire state, and Natalie had bought it!

So what if she had money?

Meanwhile, Leo hurried to a corner to share the news with Gabriel. "Gabriel, I just saw Natalie buying you a birthday gift!"

Gabriel's hand holding the phone trembled slightly. His phone almost fell to the ground.

He couldn't believe it!
