Chapter 156 The Car Ran Out of Gas

Gabriel grabbed her blood-stained arm and asked in a hoarse voice.

Natalie silently broke free and paused for a moment. "No, it's not mine."

After saying that, she got into the car and started it.

Since the police had already been called, the rest of the matter could be left to them. Rather than staying here and staring at Gabriel, she'd rather go back to sleep!

Gabriel gazed at her with a dark look, sensing her coldness, his face tense.

Brad restrained the convict and quickly ran over. "Ms. Clark, do you want me to take you to the hospital for a check-up?"

Natalie smiled at him and answered, "No, thank you."

She was always polite to Brad.

Because he was the only one in those three years who treated her kindly and without any disdain, no matter how lowly her background was, Brad always treated her as Mrs. Kensington.

This was the only kindness she received in those three years.

Brad was still worried and asked, "I think you shouldn't drive. If something happens again after the shock, it would be troublesome. How about getting a driver?"

Natalie was silent for a moment, seemingly considering Brad's words. She indeed didn't want to drive, but waiting for a driver would take time.

Brad knew her concern and immediately spoke up, "How about I..."

Sensing a cold, icy gaze on him, Brad almost bit his tongue. He nearly forgot that Gabriel was still there!

He quickly changed his words. "Let Mr. Kensington take you back!"

He stayed behind to watch over the convict.

That icy death stare finally moved away. Brad breathed a sigh of relief from the bottom of his heart. He seemed to have hovered on the edge of death for a moment. He probably almost lost his job and future just now!

Natalie glanced at Gabriel and refused without a second thought.

Let Gabriel be her driver?

She'd rather encounter ten more convicts!

But the car she had just started suddenly stalled. Natalie frowned and tried to start it again.

"Why doesn't it work?" she muttered under her breath.

This brand-new Ferrari was just bought for her by her butler from Eldoria. It shouldn't be like this.

Brad peeked in and said heavily, "Ms. Clark, your car is out of gas!"

Natalie felt a bit embarrassed.

The situation had changed dramatically!

Gabriel glanced at her lightly, a cold smile tugging at the corner of his mouth, then got into his brand-new Range Rover.

Brad paused and advised, "Ms. Clark, come to our car; it's getting late; we'll take you back first."

Natalie didn't want to! "No need. I'll find someone to pick me up."

She lowered her head and took out her phone to call Aaron.

Coincidentally, her phone rang.

It was a call from Violet.

Violet called out, "Natalie, we did it! The smart chip can enter the human body without obstruction, check the health status in three seconds, and provide a diagnostic report. We've succeeded in our most important step before we reach the goal of using artificial intelligence to control the central nervous system!"

Natalie was shocked, not expecting the surprise to come so quickly.

The project's plan, besides AI-assisted smart living, also included medical smart technology.

This was the most challenging part because it required continuous input from human experience. Moreover, every part of the human body has its unique function,, making it a huge and difficult task to coordinate them with a smart chip.

However, once successful, it could be integrated into daily life, allowing people to get the fastest and most accurate health results without going to the hospital.

This was a giant leap in human history!

Natalie couldn't hide her excitement upon hearing the news. She wished she could fly to Violet's side right now to see their great achievement.

But unluckily, her car was out of gas!

Gabriel also received the good news and was thrilled as he was equally passionate about the AI field.!

Gabriel ordered, "Brad, I'm going to find Nathan, you stay here."

"Yes," Brad responded.

Natalie immediately opened the car door, got out, and threw the keys to Brad. "I'm leaving too."

At this moment, old grudges didn't matter anymore. Now, witnessing history was the most important thing!

Natalie opened the car door, got in, and fastened her seatbelt. "Let's go. I'm going too."

Gabriel glanced at her indifferently, not in a hurry anymore, and tapped the steering wheel twice. "Natalie."
