Chapter 428 Mr. Clark, Hello
Given that Gabriel had given Jagger a strict order before taking a break, demanding that he improve his relationship with Natalie in a short time, Jagger spent the entire night coming up with a good plan.
Before they knew it, it was Ulysses' birthday.
Natalie didn't bring much when she arrived, and she didn't take much with her when she left.
She stood at the door, happily saying goodbye to Gabriel.
Finally, a few days without having to see him.
She felt so happy she could twirl around.
Gabriel watched her leave with a gentle expression, but once she was gone, his gaze turned cold as he looked at Jagger.
"Is everything ready?"
Jagger nodded firmly, "Of course, don't worry. This interaction between you and Mr. Clark will get you into the Clark family. Becoming family won't be far off then."
Gabriel's face remained expressionless, but the corners of his mouth lifted slightly, easing his tension.
Jagger continued, "Someone as exceptional as you, Mr. Kensington, is hard to find. Mr. Clark will surely understand your sincerity! Most wealthy people just need money, but you, you have money, good looks, and filial piety. You're almost too perfect!"
"Shut up," Gabriel said coldly.
Jagger turned to start the preparations.
Ulysses' birthday party was a modest yet luxurious affair held on a yacht by the Hudson River, inviting some close friends and business associates.
Victor and Yves were busy greeting guests, and Kyle had managed to take some time off to come back.
Natalie hadn't forgotten her promise to Violet and had sent her an invitation. Violet was thrilled and came over.
Ulysses and Kyle, who hadn't seen each other in a while, were chatting when they saw Natalie walk in with Violet, both laughing and talking. Kyle was slightly taken aback.
Violet didn't have Natalie's commanding presence or striking features.
She had a clean, youthful look, exuding a scholarly and confident aura.
As soon as she saw Kyle, she happily ran over to chat with him.
Natalie and Ulysses mingled with the guests, Natalie holding a glass of wine, smiling politely.
"Mr. Ulysses Clark, Ms. Natalie Clark, you two are amazing for securing Robert's project. We're all so envious."
Natalie lowered her eyes and smiled, "Just lucky, that's all."
Ulysses added, "Of course, skill is the most important factor."
The others quickly agreed, "Yes, of course."
Natalie looked at Ulysses, smiling helplessly, her demeanor bright and confident.
A group of people entered from a distance, and the person leading them caught sight of her smile, momentarily stunned.
Leo, who was following behind, was about to speak but paused when he saw Gabriel's reaction.
"What are you looking at?"
Following his gaze, he saw Natalie laughing and talking with Ulysses and the guests.
Gabriel looked away, "Just admiring the yacht."
Leo was helpless.
Natalie noticed Gabriel at the door, her smile freezing.
"Why is he here?"
Ulysses replied, "I invited him."
Leo pushed Gabriel's wheelchair over.
Despite sitting down, his presence was commanding, and no one dared to say a word.
Broad shoulders, long legs, and an air of nobility.
"Mr. Clark, happy birthday."
Ulysses nodded, his gaze noticeably softer.
"Thank you. How's your recovery?"
After all, he was injured because of Natalie.
Gabriel's gaze shifted to Natalie, smiling as he said, "Natalie has taken great care of me. Thank you for your concern, Mr. Clark."
Natalie rolled her eyes.
