Chapter 472 Lucky Angel

The night was cool and serene.

Jagger glanced at Gabriel standing on the balcony and couldn't help but speak up, "Ms. Clark won't be coming back tonight. She just got home and needs some rest."

Gabriel shot him a look. "Of course, I know that."

'Then why are you still waiting here?' Jagger thought, puzzled.

Jagger thought for a moment, "Actually, having Ms. Vasquez stay over isn't a bad idea. Maybe if Ms. Clark gets jealous, you two will make up."

Gabriel's face darkened. He hadn't expected Jagger to twist the knife in his heart.

He shot a piercing look at Jagger, his voice icy, "Are you trying to make my life even more miserable?"

Natelie would be more than happy if Briar stayed. She even went out of her way to create opportunities for them.

He wouldn't even dare to dream that she would be jealous! Betting the rest of his life on Natalie softening up? No, he didn't deserve it.

Jagger shrank back, helpless.

What he thought was a simple situation had turned complicated with the unexpected arrival of Robert and Briar, both of whom were no easy characters.

He felt like it was only a matter of time before he got thrown into Serenity River!

For several days, Natalie didn't return to Serenity Estates.

Her excuse was that she had a backlog of work to handle at the company.

Not seeing each other for a few days, Natalie felt much more relaxed.

Apart from going to the office, she spent her time shopping and having coffee with Kelly and Mia.

Sometimes, Charlie would join in the fun, making it feel like she had returned to her old life, comfortable and satisfying.

Natalie checked her social media feed. Everyone was sharing their lives, from Ulysses' health tips to Kelly and Mia's posts about their latest purchases and complaints about their luxurious yet boring lives, followed by more extravagant spending and entrepreneurial ventures.

But Charlie was acting very strangely. Usually lively and sociable, his posts had taken a turn!

Charlie's post: [Agricultural reform, fresh produce like carrots, greens, and potatoes, all available!]

Friends: [Is this a joke? Mr. Walker always has a unique way of doing things!]

[Is Mr. Walker investing in luxury decor? Are our stocks going up?]

[Is Mr. Walker buying land? Congratulations!]

Charlie replied uniformly: [Mountain produce is not selling well. If anyone needs any, please pre-order and help spread the word.]

Quinn commented: [You don't even push your diamonds this hard!]

Natalie couldn't help but look twice and then laughed. She thought for a moment and decided to share the post.

Kelly messaged her privately: [Are you crazy too?]

Natalie: [Just helping out.]

As they were chatting, a notification popped up.

Jagger: [Mr. Kensington says he'll pre-order four thousand pounds and can pay anytime.]

Natalie raised an eyebrow.

Just as she was about to ask Charlie if four thousand pounds was enough, she saw Robert reply: [If there's any left, I'll take it all.]

Generous!

Charlie was so excited when he found out, he nearly jumped for joy.

It was exactly eight thousand pounds, perfectly split.

He called Natalie: "You must come to the celebration party tonight. Bring those two along to sign the contract and make the payment. See you there."

Natalie had no room to refuse and regretted getting involved. She had to check Gabriel and Robert's schedules.

Surprisingly, both of them, despite their busy lives, agreed to attend without hesitation!

Gabriel had given up his wheelchair for public appearances and now used a cane, looking even more composed and confident.

Robert, as always, was the picture of elegance and grace.

Natalie hadn't expected the celebration party to be filled with top figures from the political and business worlds.

It was no simple gathering; ordinary people wouldn't have been able to attend.

Charlie was inside, smiling and mingling with the guests.

When he saw Natalie enter, he quickly came over to greet her, "My lucky angel!"
