Chapter 36 Kiss Passionately
This couple's restaurant was located above Leo's restaurant and was very popular. Leo insisted on coming here to experience it, so he dragged the reluctant Gabriel along for dinner.
The waiter repeatedly emphasized that this was a couple's restaurant!
So Leo threw a seductive glance and then raised his finger, tugging at Gabriel's arm. "Don't we look like a couple?"
"Mr. Kensington, Leo, what a coincidence."
A man and a woman happened to walk towards them. The man was Vincent, the son of the Turner family, and he looked like a rich man. The woman looked like a newly popular internet celebrity, with a sharp face and big eyes, lacking any distinctive features. She obediently held Vincent's arm.
Leo sneered lightly, "Why are you here?"
"Lily said this place is nice, so we came to check it out. But isn't this a couple's restaurant?" Vincent seemed to know something and covered his mouth, suppressing a laugh.
They were childhood friends, so there was no need to be conceited. Gabriel snorted coldly and glared at Leo.
Upon seeing Gabriel, Vincent certainly wouldn't leave easily, so he sat directly next to them. Lily sat across from Gabriel, and as soon as she raised her head, she saw his handsome face. However, she suppressed her excitement because Vincent was there, and she didn't dare to say too much.
"Hey, Mr. Kensington, isn't that the scheming woman?" Vincent raised his chin, indicating.
The music was beautiful and lively. Charlie led Natalie to the dance floor. "Just one dance, since you're here, don't you want to experience the feeling of the dance floor?"
Natalie hadn't answered yet, but the music had already started. If she refused here, it would only attract attention. Forget it, she'll just dance...
The music played joyfully, and their dance steps only paused for an instant before quickly synchronizing. Gradually, they became the center of attention on the dance floor. The people around them stopped to watch—the handsome and charming Charlie, and the beautiful and elegant Natalie, her skirt flying, stealing all the attention.
Charlie suddenly noticed someone in a corner. At that moment, the music happened to end. In an instant, Charlie pulled Natalie into his arms and spun around, with his back to the crowd. Then he lowered his head and embraced Natalie deeply. To the people behind them, it looked like they were passionately kissing.
Suddenly, there was enthusiastic applause in the room.
Taking advantage of Natalie's non-existent anger, Charlie smiled and pulled her away from the restaurant.
In the corner.
Gabriel didn't say anything, his expression was somewhat indifferent.
Leo looked at their backs and sneered, "That's all."
Although their dancing was comparable to professional standards, Leo wouldn't admit that Natalie danced well.
"Yeah, did this scheming woman hook up with someone so quickly?" Vincent sneered.
Gabriel glanced at Vincent with a gloomy look. "Scheming woman? Is that what you call her behind her back?"
"Why not? She used all her schemes to marry you for money, right? We all know that we were happy for you when you divorced. Finally, you don't have to deal with that annoying woman..."
Vincent thought for a moment, not realizing that Gabriel's expression was getting darker and sadder. He continued to tell the memory as a joke.
"I remember when you had just gotten married, we were drinking together. You went to the bathroom and she actually called you in the middle of the night. I answered the phone. I warned her at that time, asking her to recognize her identity. She was just so childish and didn't realize how lucky she was to marry you..."
The cup was placed heavily on the table, surrounded by laughter and joy, only the atmosphere at this table was icy cold.
Leo was slightly surprised. Gabriel's expression was clearly angry!
Because of that woman?
Vincent didn't know which sentence he said wrong. It was well known that Gabriel only married Natalie under pressure.
Lily was frightened and trembling. She had thought she could get involved with someone more powerful, but they didn't even say a word.
"Mr. Kensington." Vincent glanced at Leo, seeking help from him.
Just as Leo was about to speak, Gabriel sneered, "Vincent, why don't you just become the master of the Kensington family?"
