Chapter 440 Push You Back
Gabriel finally got his wish and had Natalie push him along the Serenity River for a walk.
Natalie was soaking in the scenery, and honestly, she wasn't too thrilled about listening to Jagger; he was just too annoying.
Away from the others, Gabriel's mood visibly improved.
Up ahead, a muscular homeless man with tattoos was playing a violin, completely lost in his music, drawing a small crowd.
If the music had been elegant and beautiful, blending with the gentle flow of the Serenity River, it would have been a touching scene.
But the sound was clearly from a novice, like an old woman wailing, harsh and unpleasant.
Natalie unknowingly walked closer and stopped, with Gabriel following suit, listening for a moment, expressionlessly.
When the piece ended, everyone breathed a sigh of relief and gradually dispersed.
The homeless man glanced at Gabriel's legs, then at the beautiful and vibrant Natalie, his gaze filled with regret and sympathy.
It was as if he thought she was wasted on Gabriel.
Gabriel frowned, expressionless, as if deep in thought.
The homeless man couldn't help but speak, "Do you even understand my music?"
If not, just leave already.
He looked at Gabriel, seeing nothing useful except for his decent looks, especially those legs.
So, his attitude carried a hint of disdain.
Gabriel raised an eyebrow and scoffed, "Terrible."
"What?" The homeless man's expression darkened, ready to argue.
Natalie was surprised at how the romantic atmosphere had suddenly turned tense.
"Terrible." Gabriel's tone was calm and cool as he lifted his eyelids.
Without another word, the homeless man rolled up his sleeves, revealing tattoos all over his body, looking menacing.
He started walking towards them.
"Sorry, if you want a fight, take it up with him!"
Natalie paused, quickly pushed Gabriel back a few steps, pointed behind them at Elijah, and then hurried away.
The wheelchair jolted, but Natalie didn't care.
"Natalie," Gabriel couldn't help but call out to her, watching her with amusement.
Why run?
This wasn't like Natalie at all.
Natalie said, "You're lucky I didn't leave you there. Jagger didn't hire you a bodyguard."
Hearing the coldness in her voice, Gabriel stayed silent for a few seconds before speaking in a low voice.
"It was terrible."
He was just being honest.
As the CEO of Kensington Group, was he supposed to lie to make a homeless man happy?
No way!
Natalie looked at him coldly, "Then I'll take you back, and you can tell him yourself."
Before she could touch his wheelchair, he tensed up and gripped the armrest, "Don't."
He suddenly felt offended, but since it was Natalie, he let it go.
"I'll listen to you. We won't go back. Look at how beautiful the river is, doesn't it look like a diamond necklace?"
If he weren't physically limited, would he be scared?
What a joke!
Natalie smirked.
The two of them leisurely walked to the middle of a small bridge, the air filled with a romantic and peaceful atmosphere, the kind of intoxicating leisure only such moments could bring.
Gabriel watched Natalie leaning on the bridge with her elbow, her profile smooth and beautiful, her eyes bright and expressive, a slight curve at her lips, radiant and captivating.
He smiled, and the words he hadn't said earlier suddenly came out. "Compared to you, anyone playing the violin is trash."
