Chapter 270 Don't Be Impulsive When Donating Money

Natalie had a hunch that Felix was strapped for cash. Why else would he be working so recklessly?

She gave him a reassuring pat on the shoulder.

"Don't sweat it. I've got plenty of money. Once we're out of here, as long as I'm around, you won't have to worry about a thing!"

Felix was touched, his eyes almost welling up with tears as he looked at her.

"Natalie, I'll owe you big time in my next life."

"No worries."

Natalie agreed without a second thought. With her wealth, supporting Felix was no big deal.

Over in Rysto, Kyle emerged from the lab at the research institute and immediately heard about Natalie's disappearance. Without hesitation, he hopped on a private jet to that sea area.

Yves hadn't come back yet, which meant things were still up in the air.

The high society folks who usually had ties with the Clark family didn't dare to bring up the painful subject at this time.

But there were always those who thought they were clever, finding out Natalie's residence and repeatedly sending flowers in mourning.

This sent Ulysses, who had just recovered, back to the hospital in a fit of rage.

Victor put his foot down: anyone who sent another bouquet would have the flowers sent straight back to their own home!

That finally shut those people up.

Even online discussions about Natalie's accident became a no-go.

The media platforms issued strict orders not to talk about it.

Everyone could see that the Clark family wasn't accepting Natalie's death; they truly adored her.

Kyle's plane flew for over ten hours and landed on the giant ship where Yves was.

A lot of the plane wreckage had been salvaged, shattered beyond recognition, but none of the people on board had been found.

They were likely long gone, buried at sea.

The longer it took, the darker Yves' expression became.

When Kyle arrived on the ship, he saw Yves drinking and watching footage of underwater diving, his eyes bloodshot, clearly having not groomed for days.

Aaron didn't dare to persuade him and was relieved to see Kyle.

"Mr. Kyle Clark."

Kyle nodded slightly and had his computer brought onto the ship.

"Stop drinking. Dad's thinking of donating all the family assets, including yours."

Yves didn't care, looking utterly dejected.

"Let him donate then."

Kyle glanced sideways.

"Have you ever thought that if Natalie comes back and finds herself broke, what will she do?"

Yves frowned. "Then we can't donate. Wait, she can come back?"

Kyle, focused on his computer, nodded without hesitation.

Yves stood up excitedly, ran over, and surrounded Kyle, tears streaming down his face.

"Really?"

Besides Ulysses, the most authoritative person in the family was Victor, and the smartest was Kyle, which was universally acknowledged.

Yves, apart from being good-looking, had no other advantages.

So Kyle's words greatly boosted Yves' confidence and excitement.

Kyle's voice was calm and steady.

"The black box from the plane was taken by Mylan. I contacted a hacker friend to hack into the black box's flight records for me."

Yves' eyes widened. Wouldn't that cause international disputes?

"In the minute before the plane exploded, there was a significant deviation in its flight path. Although the explosion and crash site is indeed in this sea area, but..."

Yves was extremely anxious and quickly asked, "But what?"

Kyle pursed his lips and spoke with a deep gaze, "But within that minute, a mysterious signal tried to correct the flight deviation. That signal was sent by Starshadow, and its final disappearance location was a thousand nautical miles away from the crash site. If Starshadow's expertise was high enough, it would have guided Natalie to prepare in advance."
