Chapter 4 Remarrying

Despite Alyssa's embarrassment, Natalie completely disregarded it. She stared at the wound on Alyssa's left leg, which was wrapped in bandages, and restrained Alyssa from struggling as she quickly ripped off the bandages.

The atmosphere in the hospital room instantly turned icy cold.

Natalie stared at the scraped wound, and the smirk at the corner of her mouth became increasingly mocking.
The editor made the following changes to the translated text:
"Wow, the injury is so severe, not even a drop of blood has come out. If I had come later, the wound would probably have healed already..."
"Natalie, you... Gabriel, it's not like that. I have a weaker body, so I recover from blood transfusions quickly..."

Alyssa saw Gabriel's deep gaze and felt a tremor in her heart. She hastily explained in a panic.
"You've been injured four or five times this month, are you trying to drain me of blood?" Natalie said coldly. "But you won't have the chance anymore. You can have Gabriel marry another poor soul to be your mobile blood bank."

After Natalie finished speaking, she sneered and left the ward without turning back.
As soon as Natalie left the ward, she sat weakly in a chair in the corridor. She felt extremely aggrieved, as if she had been abandoned by the whole world in that moment.
She felt deeply wronged, tears streaming down her face. Natalie mustered her strength and made a phone call. Her voice was choked up and full of exhaustion.

As soon as the other party heard her voice, they sighed in silence, their tone indulgent. "Where are you? I'll come pick you up."
A few minutes later, among a group of mysterious men in black, the leader, a cold and noble man, carried away someone who was unconscious without a sound.

Gabriel dragged the chief physician out, his face dark and filled with anger.
"A serious leg injury? Is blood donation necessary for such a degree? Is this the level of professionalism in your hospital?"
He exuded a chilling aura, thinking about how weak Natalie looked after donating blood each time, his guilt became even stronger, and the sense of peculiarity in his heart grew more intense.
The doctor trembled and dared not have the slightest concealment.
"This was Ms. Davis's instructions, it's not related to our hospital. Ms. Davis said you agreed as well, and you were present every time blood was donated. We were just following orders, Mr. Kensington, we will never do it again..."
Gabriel thought, 'Have I indulged Alyssa too much?'
Natalie insisted on a divorce just because of a misunderstanding caused by a photo of him and Alyssa?
If that's the case, he should make it clear. Although he didn't have strong feelings for Natalie, he was loyal to the marriage and quite satisfied with it. They could live their lives like this, and it wouldn't be a problem.
At least since they got married, he never thought of getting a divorce.
If Natalie was unsatisfied with Gabriel and Alyssa's relationship, he could keep his distance from Alyssa.
After all, they didn't have major conflicts in this marriage and could continue as they were.
He took out his phone to call Natalie, but received a message saying her phone was turned off.
Gabriel furrowed his brow tightly and went straight to the security guard at the entrance. A few minutes later, the guard stood fearfully in front of him.
"Mr. Kensington, we couldn't find Mrs. Kensington. The surveillance was hacked ten minutes ago, and we can't verify where she went." They searched the entire hospital.

Gabriel furrowed his brow, his lips tightening into a straight line. The thought of her hastily signing the divorce agreement filled him with an indescribable emotion. His gaze was deep, impossible to read.

Where could she go without a penny after the divorce?

The more he thought about how easily she left, the stronger his feelings of unease and frustration grew.

"Send someone to find her and notify me immediately when she's found."

She actually dared to turn off her phone, truly audacious.

"Yes."

He didn't want to admit it, but because of this woman who was no longer his wife, he felt a trace of anxiety...

With its European-style luxury decor and familiar limited edition furniture, Natalie opened her eyes to see the exquisite room she hadn't seen in a long time, and tears immediately fell.

This was her room.

"Don't cry. You've divorced, right? The Clark family can afford you."

An old and resolute voice sounded, and Natalie looked over, on the verge of tears.

There stood Ulysses Clark, the powerful and rumored controller of the Clark Group, emanating dominance and authority.

"Dad..."
