Chapter 42 Bad Memories
Charlie was shocked and focused on the key point. "You're dreaming. She's neither crazy nor stupid, why would she want to kiss an asshole?"
"If you don't believe it, you can ask others. Everyone saw it with their own eyes!" Angela defended herself.
The crowd hesitantly nodded.
Charlie sneered, "You're all in cahoots. Do you think I'm stupid?"
Angela's expression turned ugly with anger. "Anyway, this is true. Natalie, don't you dare deny it? My brother only has Alyssa in his heart, and your existence is only to provide her with blood. Don't expect to marry into the Kensington family. They won't accept you anymore."
She knew Alyssa was a thorn in Natalie's heart. Every time she mentioned that name, Natalie felt even more desperate.
But the Natalie in front of her chuckled lightly, glanced coldly at her friends behind her, and said, "The whole world knows about the affair between your brother and Alyssa. Ms. Kensington, your words have confirmed his extramarital affair. You should have spoken up earlier."
Angela's face turned pale. She angrily pointed at Natalie, laughed coldly, and cursed, "You all don't know who she really is, do you? Everything she has is the result of selling her body and relying on men. Look at her appearance, you might think she's a daughter from some wealthy family, right?"
The atmosphere turned slightly chilly. Not only people on the second floor balcony, but also others were attracted by Angela's words and looked over.
However, Natalie only furrowed her eyebrows slightly, with a cold expression and no significant emotional change.
She seemed to be watching a farce that had nothing to do with her.
"Let me tell you all, Natalie is nothing but poor. She had nothing when she married my brother. At the Kensington Villa, every time she spends money, she has to ask my brother for it. In our family, she's just a maid, doing laundry, cooking, and cleaning. She even has to do the work of a gardener. As long as she goes to the Kensington Villa, the rest of the maids can go home and rest. My brother didn't marry a wife, he married a maid. No, she's even lower than a maid!"
Angela laughed brazenly, trying to expose Natalie's most miserable side, tearing apart the radiance that Natalie carried and revealing her originally miserable and dim life.
"Angela!"
A cold and stern voice suddenly rang out. Angela's laughter immediately stopped as she turned around in shock.
"Gabriel?"
Gabriel stood there, with a terrible expression, though it was unclear when he had arrived. Angela instinctively took a step back, her face turning pale.
Due to Wendy's instructions, the staff at Kensington Villa would never speak of Natalie's life. Gabriel never had the chance to know about these things, because Natalie would never speak of them either.
Angela murmured, "I must be crazy, revealing everything that happened at Kensington Villa. If Gabriel finds out. well, it doesn't matter. He doesn't like Natalie anyway. They're divorced!"
Angela took a deep breath. In front of her friends, she didn't want to lose her noble status as a member of the Kensington family.
"Gabriel, I was just trying to teach her a lesson. She was just trying to seduce you."
"Heh, don't pretend..." Charlie interrupted Angela's words with a cold laugh. After hearing what Angela said, he was so angry that he trembled and wanted to violently attack Gabriel in front of him.
He thought, ‘Is this how the people of the Kensington family treat the beloved daughter of the esteemed Clark family?’
"Ms. Kensington, how dare you take such a disgusting thing and flaunt it as a glorious deed? Natalie is really unlucky to have married Gabriel!"
Charlie's voice was cold. He firmly stood in front of Natalie, believing that Natalie's feelings and her three years of dedication should not be talked about and mocked.
"You! What's it to you? Tell the truth. Were you and Natalie already together before Natalie divorced my brother...?"
She hadn't given up on accusing Natalie!
"Angela, shut up!" Gabriel scolded her. He felt suffocated.
