Chapter 11 The Little Mute is Here Too

The Wilder family estate.

Late at night.

Donovan quietly walked into Finley's room and tucked in the blanket that she had kicked off.

The little girl slept soundly, and Donovan watched for a while before turning around to leave. As soon as he came out, he saw Paxton approaching to report, "Mr. Wilder, I went to that restaurant, but the surveillance was broken. We didn't find anything."

After listening, Donovan frowned, "Such a coincidence?"

Was it just a coincidence that the surveillance at that restaurant happened to be broken?

Paxton looked somewhat troubled, hesitating as he said, "Maybe it's just a coincidence. After all, Mrs. Wilder, no, Ms. Monroe has been away for so long. We haven't had any news of her all these years, so it's unlikely she would suddenly reappear in the country."

After speaking, he saw Mr. Wilder's expression instantly darken. Paxton felt nervous and didn't say anything further.
"Understood," Donovan said, and then turned to enter the bedroom.

The next morning, after Riley finished breakfast, she took the two children to the prestigious nursery school that Harper recommended. She was always efficient in handling things, and after confirming the nursery school last night, she stayed up all night to complete the necessary arrangements. Today, she came with the two children to handle the enrollment procedures.

As Harper had said, the entrance requirements for this nursery school in H City were high, and the children attending were from wealthy families. The school also had strict screening for parents. When Riley arrived at the principal's office, she was asked to provide her occupation and net worth, as well as relevant proof documents.

Fortunately, Harper had informed her about these requirements in advance, so Riley was prepared. Although she wasn't a CEO or director, her top-notch medical skills had earned her a considerable amount of money over the years, much higher than the net worth required by the school.

After inspecting her documents, the principal's attitude became much more respectful. "Ms. Monroe, I will now handle the enrollment procedures for your children. Please sign here," he said. Riley cooperatively wrote down her name.

Soon, the principal called over a gentle-looking preschool teacher and asked her to take the two children to the classroom to familiarize themselves with the environment and classmates. The two children waved to Riley and followed the teacher without crying or making a fuss.

As she watched their figures disappear around the corner, Riley stood up and bid farewell to the principal.

Unlike other parents, she had full confidence in her two children. They had been brought up by her in the research institute since they were young, and they had a strong ability to adapt to new environments.

As for the curriculum in the kindergarten, it posed no difficulty for the two child prodigies. Riley was more worried that they would bully other children rather than being bullied themselves, after all, they had caused plenty of trouble for the high-end talents in the research institute.

On the other side, two children were being led by their teacher, curiously looking around as they walked.

They continued to look around until they entered the classroom.

As soon as they entered, the teacher kindly introduced them to everyone, saying, "Children, these two are our new classmates. Let's welcome them, shall we?"

The other children below looked curiously at the two kids.

The two children also confidently introduced themselves to their classmates.

They were cute and outgoing, and after their introduction, the other children below started applauding.

Winston looked around and suddenly noticed someone in the crowd, seemingly recognizing them. He gently tugged at his brother's sleeve and whispered, "Look, isn't that our half-sister? She's also in this class!"
