Chapter 320 You Have Kids
Riley was totally floored by how much her illness had messed with the kids, leaving her kinda speechless.
Thinking back, she’d been looking after them since day one. To them, Riley was always the hero, making sure they were safe and sound. This latest sickness was a whole new scary thing for the little ones, which explained why they were so freaked out.
Riley stayed quiet for a bit before finally bending down and patting their heads with a mixed-up look. "Thanks, sweethearts, for worrying about me. Since you’re scared I’ll catch a cold, I’ll just watch you swim from the side and not get in."
The kids exchanged a look, hesitated for a sec, then nodded like good little soldiers.
Feeling a bit better, Riley rounded them up and drove to the pool.
Thinking they’d be coming here a lot, she decided to get a membership. The pool was in a fancy villa area, nice and spacious. Even though it was the weekend and the place was buzzing, it didn’t feel too packed. The water was super clear.
The pool had separate areas for adults and kids. The little ones were already pretty good swimmers, and since they didn’t have these rules abroad, Riley let them swim with the adults.
As soon as the two cute kids hit the water, everyone’s eyes were on them. Their swimming skills had people totally amazed. Riley chilled on the side, ordered some snacks and drinks, and watched the kids while munching.
Even though she wasn’t planning to swim, being at the pool made her change into a swimsuit. It wasn’t too revealing but still showed off her fit figure. Totally relaxed, Riley sat back, legs crossed, watching the kids with a smile.
Lost in her thoughts, Riley was jolted back when a slick voice whispered in her ear, "Hey there, gorgeous, you here alone?"
Riley snapped back and took a second to react. She instinctively checked the guy out. He was just in swim trunks, had a decent body, but his face was greasy no matter how she sliced it.
Seeing her look, the guy struck a few poses and said, "I’m a fitness coach at the gym next door. If you’re interested, I can show you the ropes."
Riley gave a polite smile, "Thanks, but I’m not really into it."
The guy’s eyes lingered on her long legs, filled with lust, and he pushed on, "If not fitness, maybe something else..."
Before he could finish, a sweet, childlike voice piped up, "Stay away from my mommy!"
Seeing a guy hit on their mom, the kids scrambled out of the pool and rushed to her side, glaring at the dude. Noticing the kids, the guy’s face changed. "You have kids?"
Riley instinctively stood to shield them, but they stubbornly stood in front of her.
The guy’s eyes flicked over the kids and back to Riley. "Actually, I don’t mind. Look, if you’re interested..."
Hearing that, Riley’s brow furrowed sharply.
