Chapter 437 Won't Let You Down
That evening, Daniel invited Riley over for dinner.
Over dinner, Daniel casually mentioned, "The Jones family is planning a free clinic soon. If Dr. Monroe is interested, I can recommend you."
Hearing that, Riley's eyes widened in surprise.
Even though she'd been abroad for years, she'd definitely heard of the Jones family.
In the medical world, they were practically legends. The younger crowd always heard tales about them but rarely got to see them in action.
Being away for so long, Riley never had any contact with the Jones family, but she always dreamed of it.
Their medical skills were top-notch, and they had these ancient medical books that Riley found super intriguing.
Her current medical expertise was mostly thanks to a few precious books from Chandler.
The Jones family's collection surpassed Chandler's, with each book being a treasure trove, particularly valuable for those delving into traditional medicine.
If she could read them or get some guidance from the Jones family elders, Riley knew her skills would skyrocket.
Before coming back to the country, Riley had thought about visiting the Jones family if she ever got the chance.
But after returning, she found out the Jones family had gone off the grid years ago and rarely dealt with outsiders.
As a newbie with no connections, meeting anyone from the Jones family seemed impossible.
Plus, with the Wilder Group causing trouble, Riley had to drop the idea.
Now, hearing Daniel mention this opportunity, Riley felt flattered. "I'm really interested, but would it be too much trouble for you? I heard the Jones family hasn't been dealing with outsiders much lately."
Seeing her reaction, Daniel knew Riley genuinely loved traditional medicine and felt reassured, "I have some connections with the Jones family. Getting you into their free clinic isn't a big deal. But you gotta perform well and not embarrass me in front of them."
Riley was still unsure. "Daniel, the Benedict family has already done so much for me. You don't need to help me more..."
Before she could finish, Daniel shot her a disapproving look.
Riley quickly shut her mouth.
"You saved my life. Whatever the Benedict family gives you is well-deserved," Daniel said firmly. "Besides, as a family of medical practitioners, we should support young talent like you. There aren't many young people in the country with your level of expertise in traditional medicine. You have a lot of potential. Interacting with the Jones family is a great opportunity for you. If you miss it, I'll feel sorry for you!"
Dalton chimed in, "Absolutely, Dr. Monroe, I've seen your skills firsthand. Plus, after this free clinic, the Jones family plans to set up a research institute in the country and is looking for partners. If you can impress them during the clinic, your research institute might get this opportunity."
Riley was touched and gratefully agreed, "Thank you, Daniel, for giving me this chance. I promise I won't let you down!"
Daniel smiled, satisfied.
Next to him, Dalton also breathed a sigh of relief and quickly texted Donovan.
