Chapter 321 I'll Get Out of Here Right Away

"This is a public spot, my kids are here, and I'm not into you. So, please stop talking nonsense and leave immediately." Riley's face went ice-cold as she stared at the dude in front of her, totally blank. Even though she was sitting down, her vibe was fierce.

The guy was thrown off for a sec, but then he snapped out of it and decided not to let go so easily. He shamelessly said, "Alright, I won't say anything. Just gimme your number, and we can chat later."

Riley shot him a disgusted look. "If you don't scram now, I'm calling the staff!"

The guy glanced around, saw the staff were still far off, and tried to snatch Riley's phone. But a tiny hand grabbed it first.

Riley looked at Landon, surprised, not sure what he was up to.

"I'll call Daddy right now and have him come over. There are cameras at the pool, and he won't let you get away with harassing my mom!" Landon pretended to scroll through Riley's phone.

Hearing Landon's words, Riley realized he was trying to scare the guy off, so she stayed quiet.

The guy still looked like he didn't want to give up and just stood there. Landon, with a serious face, added, "My dad's the CEO of the Wilder Group, super powerful. Just wait!"

As he spoke, he made sure the guy saw Donovan's contact name on Riley's phone.

The guy was suddenly freaked out. He worked at the nearby gym to find rich women and had done his homework on the big families in H City. He'd heard of Donovan, knew he was a big shot in H City. He'd also heard about Donovan's marriage. But with Donovan's money, it wouldn't be shocking if he had a few side chicks.

The woman in front of him looked like a local, and with her attitude, the guy didn't doubt it. Instead, he was scared stiff. He never thought he'd accidentally mess with someone tied to Donovan!

Riley was shocked by Landon's words, her heart racing as she glanced at him in panic. How could it be so coincidental? Why did Landon use Donovan as an excuse? For a moment, she couldn't tell if Landon was using Donovan's name to scare the guy off or if the kids already knew their father's identity.

"So, you're Mr. Wilder's woman." The guy was stunned for a bit before snapping out of it and quickly apologizing to Riley, "I really didn't know. Please, don't hold it against me."

Riley didn't really hear what he said, her mind stuck on Landon's earlier words. She absentmindedly nodded, "Just leave already."

The guy's attitude flipped instantly. "I'm outta here."

With that, he turned and bolted.

Landon saw the creepy guy leave and finally relaxed. He handed the phone back to Riley. Seeing the look in Riley's eyes, his face was all innocent. "Mommy, what's up?"

Riley stared at Landon's face, not blinking, but she couldn't see anything off. She took the phone with a heavy heart and forced a smile. "Nothing, you guys go back to playing. I'm good."

The two kids nodded and went back to the pool.
