Chapter 198 A Twist in Their Relationship
The employees outside were still buzzing about the news, gossiping about Hollis.
"I heard Mr. Wilder didn't want to marry Miss Sutton. Who knew he was so considerate behind the scenes?"
"Mr. Wilder is both handsome and kind. I wish I had a boyfriend like that!"
Hollis's face twisted with anger as she overheard. She nearly dug her nails into her palm to keep her cool. "It's work time. Stop gossiping and get back to work!"
She shot a cold glare at the gossiping employees and stormed off without looking back.
She couldn't stay there any longer! The more they gossiped, the angrier she got!
Hollis drove straight home.
At the Sutton family villa, Alice and William were in the living room. They were both startled when their daughter burst in, fuming.
"Hollis, what's wrong? What's going on at the company?"
William was about to offer some advice, but Hollis cut him off coldly, "The company! If you want it to do well, shouldn't you be pushing for me to marry into the Wilder family? But you don't even know where Donovan is!"
Alice and William's hearts sank.
Alice frowned. "Is this about Donovan? Didn't Catherine already spread the news that you two are getting married? What are you worried about?"
Before she finished speaking, Hollis, in her high heels, strode up and threw her phone onto the sofa. "See for yourselves!"
They exchanged puzzled glances and picked up the phone.
Their faces darkened as they saw the content on the screen.
They usually only read financial news. This was the first time they saw the news about Donovan taking care of his fiancée last night.
They knew their daughter had stayed home last night and could tell that the woman in the photo was not their daughter.
"Who is this woman in the photo?" Alice asked, frowning.
Hollis's chest heaved with anger. She glanced coldly at the phone screen and said nothing.
Alice pressed on, "Is it that Riley?"
She couldn't think of anyone else but Riley!
Hearing her mother mention that woman, Hollis gritted her teeth and replied, "It's that bitch!"
It was bad enough that Riley had embarrassed her at the birthday party!
Now that the news of her marriage to Donovan had spread, that bitch still shamelessly clung to Donovan!
Fortunately, the media photos were not clear, and not many people could tell it wasn't her.

She had thought that once the news of Donovan and Hollis's marriage was out, the marriage between the two families would be set.

"Don't rush. Since everyone online thinks it's you, let's pretend we don't know anything!" After a pause, Alice lifted her gaze and calmly instructed her daughter.
Hollis naturally wouldn't clarify the situation herself and agreed with a cold demeanor.
