Chapter 70 Paying the Price
"Bullying Mommy will definitely come at a cost! She shall pay!" Landon coldly sneered.
Winston nodded vigorously and started typing on the keyboard again.
Seeing this, Landon was puzzled. "What are you doing?"
Winston said excitedly, "Their tech team is so useless. My virus is so simple, yet they still haven't cracked it. Since that's the case, I'll make it a bit more challenging for them and really annoy that bad woman!"
Upon hearing this, Landon nodded in agreement. "It's good if they can't crack it; that way, more people will see her embarrassment; let's see if she dares to bully Mommy again!"
The two little ones focused intently on the computer.
Suddenly, footsteps sounded at the door.
Landon, being sharp, heard the commotion outside and alerted Winston.
Winston quickly stopped the coding and stuffed the computer into his brother's arms.
When Riley entered, she saw Landon holding the computer in his arms and Winston curiously leaning over to look.
"Aren't you feeling unwell? Why aren't you resting properly and still looking at the computer?" Riley furrowed her brows.
Sitting down beside the two little ones, she said, "Come here, let me check on you again."
Upon hearing this, the two little ones felt a pang of anxiety.
Mommy was so sharp. If she checked, they would definitely be caught! Then they wouldn't be able to hide what they did from Mommy!
Riley reached out to grab Winston's wrist, but he dodged.
"What's wrong?" Riley looked at him, puzzled.
Winston cautiously held his wrist, unsure how to react, seeking help from Landon.
Landon, however, remained calm and extended his hand directly to Riley, "Mommy, I actually feel much better after taking the medicine, but if you're still worried, let's have ourselves checked."
Riley's attention was drawn to him. She checked his wrist, confirmed nothing unusual, and then looked at Winston.
She remembered that Winston's symptoms were more severe just now.
Seeing his brother's solution, Winston also realized, smilingly approached his mommy, "Mommy, I'm much better too! The medicine you gave us works great! Mommy is the best doctor in the world! My brother and I admire you so much! We love you the most, Mommy."
Riley chuckled and shook her head. After checking, she found that the two little ones were fine, relieved but also feeling something was not quite right.
"However, I still feel a bit uncomfortable," Winston said seriously.
Upon hearing this, Riley's heart tightened, looking at him with concern.
But she heard the little one's childish voice saying, "I need mommy's hug to feel better."
With that said, a soft body threw itself towards her.
Riley smiled as she embraced the little one, the slight doubt in her heart disappearing, holding the little ones as they looked at the computer screen together. "Landon, what are you doing?"
While Winston had caught Mommy's attention, Landon had already switched to the webpage, casually meeting Mommy's gaze. "I'm checking today's stock market trends. I made some money from the foreign investments I had before."
"My brother made over fifty million!" Winston seemed even prouder than Landon himself.
Hearing this figure, Riley couldn't help but feel amazed, "So much? Landon, you're amazing!"
Winston playfully asked, "What about me? What about me?"
Riley smiled, "Winston, you're also great with computers. You both are amazing. Mommy loves you both so much!"
After saying that, Riley kissed the foreheads of the two little ones.
Landon and Winston smiled innocently.
