Chapter 68 Beat the Bad Woman
The two little ones compared Hollis to Riley and finally felt that Hollis was no match for Riley.
Daddy actually abandoned Mommy for Hollis; he really was foolish!
After a round of disdain, Landon suddenly remembered their conversation in the restaurant and leaned over to Riley, asking, "Mommy, you said that aunt used a conspiracy against you earlier. What's going on? Did she bully you?"
Riley didn't want to involve the two little ones and calmly denied, "It's nothing, just work-related matters. It's been resolved."
As the words fell, Landon's voice sounded resolute in her ears.
"So she did!" Landon's young face tensed, furrowing his brow with an air of maturity. "What's going on exactly? Mommy, you need to tell us!"
Winston chimed in, following up with, "Mommy, didn't we agree? No secrets between us three. You can't deceive kids!"
Riley sighed helplessly. She almost forgot that these two little ones were different from other kids, exceptionally bright.
Under the intense scrutiny of the two, Riley eventually spilled the beans about the incident where Hollis and H City herbal merchants had boycotted their research institute.
Upon hearing that Hollis had actually mistreated their mom, the two little ones clenched their fists in anger. "That woman is so mean!"
Riley cautioned, "It's all sorted now, you two, don't get into trouble."
The two little ones nodded obediently, though seething inside.
Back at home, while Riley went to take a shower, the two sneaked into the study. Landon whispered mysteriously in his brother's ear, and after a moment, Winston's eyes lit up. He turned on the computer, fingers flying over the keys, and soon infiltrated the Sutton family Group's system.
By the time Riley finished her shower, the two little ones had innocently crawled into bed, their big, bright eyes fixed on Riley, waiting for her to tell them a bedtime story.
The next morning, Hollis was awakened by the phone ringing, her face showing clear displeasure.
Last night, upon learning about Donovan meeting Riley, she was so upset that she couldn't sleep till very late, only to be woken up early today, feeling quite irritated.
"What is it!" Answering the phone, Hollis's tone was impatient.
On the other end, Beck's voice sounded urgent, "CEO Sutton, you need to come and see. There's a major issue with the company's system!"
At the news, Hollis snapped awake, quickly got ready, and hurried to the company.
Upon arrival, she discovered that almost the entire company's system was paralyzed, with employees looking oddly on the sidelines and the tech department staff scrambling to fix it. No one knew where the virus came from, and no matter what they tried, they couldn't resolve it.
When Hollis appeared, the staff instinctively lowered their heads as if hiding something. The tech department employees wore pained expressions.
"What's going on? You can't fix this after so long; why do I even pay you?" Hollis strode to the computer, her face turning pale as she saw the screen displaying two cartoon figures in a brawl.
More precisely, one was beating up the other. The beaten figure had Hollis's name on its face and "bad woman" written prominently on its clothes. Next to the attacker was a speech bubble that read: [Beat the bad woman!]
Clearly, the virus was targeting her!
