Chapter 12 Finley Got Bullied

Following his gaze, Landon saw the little girl they had met yesterday.

His brows furrowed slightly.

Meanwhile, Finley was also looking at them, clapping along with the other children.

When she saw them looking at her, she felt somewhat excited.

She didn't expect to encounter Landon and Winston here.

Although they had only met once, she really liked these two people, though she couldn't explain why.

However, just as she was staring at them, Landon and Winston had already shifted their gaze away.

"Alright, you two can go sit down now. There are two empty seats over there, why don't you sit together?" the teacher pointed to the two empty seats next to Finley.

Landon and Winston obediently nodded and went to sit down.

As they approached her, Finley's eyes lit up, and she happily looked at them.

However, even though they sat right next to her, it was as if they didn't recognize her at all and didn't say a word to her.

Finley silently lowered her head again, playing with her fingers in disappointment.

The two children had actually been paying attention to Finley's reaction all along, and seeing her disappointed expression, they felt somewhat guilty.

"Daddy doesn't want us and had a child with someone else. He even bullies mommy. She's daddy's bad child, so we can't talk to her, or else we would be betraying mommy!" Landon clenched his little fist, not knowing if he was trying to convince himself or advising his brother.

Hearing his brother's words, Winston nodded seriously, "Yes, we must ignore her!"

And so, the two children sat straight and upright throughout the entire class, not once looking at Finley.

Feeling neglected by them, Finley didn't dare to steal glances at them anymore.

After class, many little girls approached the two children to play with them, complimenting their looks and giving them toys.

Winston was lively and cheerful, laughing and playing with everyone.

Landon, on the other hand, was polite, composed, and friendly.

On the side, Finley saw two boys laughing and mustered up the courage to go over and greet them.

However, the kids formed a circle and even pushed her out of her seat.

An angry little girl pushed her and said, "Get lost, mute! You pushed me! You can't even speak, so don't come over!"

Finley was caught off guard and was pushed down.

The people behind her moved away and no one reached out to help her up.

In panic, Finley tried to grab onto the nearby table but missed, and in the end, she fell and her tender little hands hit the edge of the table hard.

It hurt.

Finley fell to the ground, with red eyes and a slight frown.

Her classmates nearby only watched without a word, and even a few girls covered their mouths and laughed gleefully.

Finley had always acted aloof and, coupled with her inability to speak, few people wanted to be her friend.

However, she looked like a doll and though she wasn't well-liked by the girls, quite a few boys liked playing with her, caring for her like a little princess.

Usually, when those mischievous boys came to her, they became polite and well-behaved, making the other girls jealous and naturally disliking her.

Especially Stella, who pushed Finley earlier, almost took every opportunity to bully her.
