Chapter 115: We Will Protect You
The four of them quickly arrived at the Global Adventure Park.
Despite their intention to lift their mother's spirits, the two young ones were also excited to play and had already researched guides.
The moment they entered the gate, they eagerly grabbed Riley, urging her to go to Jurassic Park to see the dinosaurs.
Riley naturally agreed and took the two little ones to Jurassic Park. Landon and Winston were very excited.
After leaving Jurassic Park, they went to the Alien Caverns and traveled to space on bicycles with ET.
After participating in these two activities, Riley was already feeling a bit tired. However, the two little ones were still brimming with energy and continued to enjoy several more attractions.
At each stop, they insisted on taking group photos, and Riley obliged each time. As the two little ones excitedly persuaded her, the tensions of the past two days faded into the background.
Donovan and Alexander agreed to bring Riley in for a discussion promptly, so they made the call right away.
Unfortunately, the call couldn't connect, causing Donovan's expression to darken slightly.
The recent time spent together had almost made Donovan forget about Riley's unwavering determination.
She not only declined to hear his explanation but also swiftly blocked his attempts to communicate, showcasing her resolute stance.
"How is it?" Alexander noticed his expression and felt a bit uneasy.
As time passed, Finley's symptoms were worsening, and she couldn't wait any longer. Donovan glanced towards Finley's room and spoke in a deep voice, "Please watch over Finley. I'll go find her now."
With those words, he contacted Paxton and made his way to Riley's house.
The housekeeper they had encountered before answered the door with a smile upon seeing them and informed them, "Ms. Monroe is currently not at home. Would you like to come in and wait?"
Donovan's expression darkened as he questioned, "Where did she go?”
Sophie replied, "I think she went to the Global Adventure Park. Do you need me to pass a message to Ms. Monroe?"
Donovan had already turned to leave.
Behind him, Paxton smiled at Sophie, "No need, we'll go find her."
After saying that, he quickly followed Donovan.
"Mr. Wilder, where are we going..." Paxton started to ask, still unsure of Donovan's intentions.
Donovan pressed his temples. "To the Global Adventure Park."
Paxton acknowledged and sped toward the Global Adventure Park.
After buying tickets and entering, they realized they needed to know which attraction Riley was at.
Donovan ordered coldly, "Go search. Tell me when you find her."
Paxton agreed, and they started searching for different attractions.
Before long, Paxton called, "Mr. Wilder, I think I saw Ms. Monroe."
Donovan asked for the location and quickly headed over.
As it was a weekday, the place was relatively deserted, and they promptly noticed the four individuals standing at the entrance of the haunted house. There was a sense of tension among them, particularly between Riley and the two children.
The two little ones were pulling Riley's arms from either side while Riley stood still.
"Mommy! Come in with us. We'll protect you!" Winston pleaded while tugging.
Riley's face was full of hesitation.
Landon chimed in, " Mommy, how can you become our example if you're so afraid?”
Riley sighed, "Alright, I'll go in with you."
With that, she tensed up and was pulled inside by the two little ones.
At the same time, Donovan followed closely behind them and entered.
