Chapter 33 Hollis Supports Them

Upon hearing Riley's words, Dalton and Mia's faces instantly turned pale.

"What nonsense are you talking about?" Mia glared at Riley angrily. "Can you actually treat him or not? If you can't, just say so, and don't curse my grandfather here!"

Riley coldly stared back at her. "I have been quite polite in saying this. Due to the prolonged delay in treatment, your grandfather's bodily functions have already begun to deteriorate, and his immune system has rapidly declined. In this situation, the patient should have received timely care, but the medical team you hired did not consider the patient's condition and administered a large amount of medication, which is not treating the illness, but burning his lifespan."

The head doctor in the medical team felt displeased and stepped forward to stand beside them, looking at Riley righteously. "Miss, you don't understand the situation, so please refrain from making random judgments. Mr. Benedict Sr.'s previous condition was indeed severe. If it weren't for us administering medication in a timely manner, Mr. Benedict Senior's body wouldn't have lasted until now! Please do not question our expertise! And besides, we were hired by Miss Sutton, so why would we harm Mr. Benedict Senior?"

Riley keenly caught on to the employer mentioned by the doctor.

Hollis?

This medical team was actually hired by Hollis.

She must have found these people from somewhere, incapable as they are, and yet they have confidence.

Did they think Hollis supporting them would make her afraid?

Riley's expression grew even colder as she countered, "Expertise? I really can't see any expertise in your team. If you had even a little professionalism, you wouldn't have treated the patient like this!"

The doctor couldn't find any words to say. Thinking of Mr. Benedict Sr.'s frail appearance, he furrowed his brow, unable to utter a word.

Mia noticed the silence from the head doctor and her expression changed slightly. She stepped forward and said, "Since you're so confident and saying all this, are you sure you can cure my grandfather? If not, please stop wasting our time with your words, okay? Holly has introduced many good doctors over the years for my grandfather's health, and Van has put in a lot of effort. Are all their efforts in vain under your care?"

Riley furrowed his brow and glanced instinctively at the man next to him. Seeing his blank expression, he immediately averted his gaze and calmly said, "I am only stating the facts. Whether you believe it or not, the truth is right in front of us and everyone should understand that."

"You!" Mia couldn't believe that she was being contradicted and became even more upset.

Meanwhile, Dalton disapproved of the sudden argument between the two and gave his sister a disapproving look.

Meeting his gaze, Mia reluctantly closed her mouth.

"Dr. Monroe, I apologize on behalf of my sister. However, I am not concerned about the previous treatments now. I just want to know if you are confident. If you are, then please start the treatment as soon as possible. After all, as you have mentioned, my grandfather's condition cannot be delayed any longer."

After scolding his sister, Dalton turned to Riley with a sincere look.

Mia sneered from the side, "Yeah, aren't you so capable? Please treat him quickly. I'm actually curious about your abilities."

Riley pretended not to hear her provocation and turned back to the bedside, saying to them, "I am now going to start the treatment. Please help me take off Mr. Benedict Senior's clothes."
