Chapter 31 Intentionally Targeting Her
Everyone present was stunned. Riley felt her heart tighten when she saw her credentials being taken by that large hand.
Since seeing Donovan earlier, she had intentionally avoided him. She didn't even dare to look at him or his daughter. However, now, the man suddenly took her file, forcing her to focus her attention on him. She didn't know what he was up to.
Donovan tightly held onto the portfolio and glanced over Riley, implying something with his words. "Nowadays, many people forge their credentials and deceive others. Grandpa Benedict's condition is already very bad, so never let these people deceive you."
As he spoke, he casually flipped open the portfolio in his hand, meticulously reviewing every detail of Riley's education and work experience. Her life over the years slowly unfolded in his mind. After what seemed like an eternity, Donovan slowly closed the cover of her portfolio. Riley tensed up immediately. "It looks... genuine," Donovan said coldly, giving Riley a cold look. He then suggested to Dalton, "However, it would be best to check on the computer to confirm if this person truly exists. After all, these certificates in the credentials can be bought."
After hearing this, Riley finally couldn't hold back.
The man spoke several times, making it clear that he was targeting her and questioning her medical skills.
