Chapter 53 I Like You Too
Riley flipped through the phone book to find Donovan's number.
She had saved it specifically in case she missed Donovan's call when Finley went missing last time.
Seeing the note, it was just a simple "D".
Riley changed the note to Donovan and then dialed the phone.
On the other side, Donovan was preparing to personally drive and find Finley when his phone suddenly rang.
Glancing at the caller ID, his eyes narrowed, and he answered it.
"It's me," Riley's voice came from the other end.
Thinking about the tricks this woman played to avoid him last time, Donovan snorted coldly and his tone was equally chilly, "What do you want?"
Riley glanced at the little girl beside her. If it wasn't for Finley, she would have hung up the phone upon hearing this tone!
"Finley came to find me early this morning. If you have time, come and pick her up. Or you can just give me the address, and I'll send her back," she said.
After listening, Donovan furrowed his brows, "Give me the address."
Riley replied, "Pixel Haven, Number 32."
Just as she finished speaking, the call was abruptly disconnected.
Looking at the darkened screen, Riley secretly breathed a sigh of relief and turned to the little girl, "Your daddy will be here soon to pick you up. You have to be good and go with him, okay?"
Finley obediently nodded, but she was scheming in her mind.
She had finally gotten the chance to be with the beautiful aunt and didn't want to leave so soon.
However, daddy would be here soon, so how could she stay a little longer?
On the side, Landon saw through her thoughts at a glance and coolly crossed his arms, "Your daddy really hates my mommy, so he definitely won't let you stay here for long. I advise you to give up!"
Upon hearing this, Finley's eyes dimmed. Her father really didn't like the beautiful aunt and even argued with the aunt in front of her.
However, she liked the beautiful aunt! It was because of this that she had run out of the house early in the morning. She didn't know why, but she just really liked the beautiful aunt. Although they didn't spend much time together, her liking for the beautiful aunt was much greater than for Cole, who took care of her every day!
Right! Finley's eyes lit up again.
When she ran out in the morning, she had brought gifts for the beautiful aunt and the little brothers!
Thinking of this, Finley jumped off the couch and rummaged in her little backpack. She took out a delicate and small crystal ball and walked towards Riley, holding it with both hands.
Riley looked at her curiously. Finley offered it to her, her big eyes filled with anticipation. Seeing this, Riley hesitated and took it from her. "Is this for me?" she asked. Finley nodded and wrote in the book, "Gift. Like Auntie!"
Riley smiled and patted her head. "Thank you, Finley. Auntie likes you too."
Landon and Winston were surprised that their little sister had brought gifts and jumped off the couch, chasing after her. "Is it only for Mommy? What about us?"
Finley smiled and nodded, rummaging in her backpack again. Soon, she brought out two small transforming race car figures and walked towards Landon and Winston with short legs.
When Landon and Winston saw what she had in her hands, their eyes sparkled. They had always loved playing with these toys, and Mommy often bought the toys they liked for them. They had been eyeing these two transforming race cars for a long time, but they were quite expensive, and they hadn't found a suitable reason to ask Mommy to buy them. And now, Finley had given them as gifts. And the two little boys could confirm that what she had in her hands was definitely authentic!
