Chapter 270 If This Gets Out

The doorbell rang unexpectedly.

Thinking it was Riley, Finley's eyes lit up. She jumped off the bed and rushed to the door.

But her excitement vanished when she saw who it was.

"Finley," Hollis greeted with a forced smile.

The mountainous roads had been tough for her. Donovan had been walking fast with Finley in his arms, not waiting for her.

She lost sight of them for a bit but found them at the only nearby hotel.

After getting their room number from the front desk, Hollis came straight up.

Donovan's face darkened when he saw her.

Ignoring their reactions, Hollis smiled and walked in, looking at Finley. "Finley, aren't you feeling unwell? Why aren't you resting?"

With a reproachful glance at Donovan, Hollis added, "I told you, I should've come to take care of Finley."

Donovan frowned. "Finley's just tired. If there's nothing else, you should leave."

Hollis's face stiffened as she tried to think of a reason to stay.

Then she noticed a pink suitcase by the bed.

It clearly wasn't Donovan's.

"What's this?" Hollis asked, eyeing the suitcase.

Donovan glanced at it and said indifferently, "It's Finley's classmates' parent's. There weren't enough rooms, so I shared with them."

Hollis looked shocked. "You shared a room with a woman?"

Donovan's eyes darkened.

If it were anyone else, he wouldn't have agreed.

But it was Riley.

They had been married and intimate before, so it wasn't a big deal.

Plus, they were careful, wearing pajamas and barely speaking.

Realizing this, Hollis felt a surge of disgust. She couldn't let Donovan stay with Riley!

Last time in North City, they were just a wall apart!

Now, they were in the same room!

Donovan didn't seem to mind at all!

Hollis was furious but forced a gentle smile. "There might be rooms available today. I'll check. Even if you don't mind sharing with a woman, you should consider her feelings. It's not convenient."

She turned to change Donovan's room.

Donovan frowned but said nothing.

Finley grabbed Hollis's skirt, her face full of resistance. "No!"

Hollis suppressed her anger, frowning. "Finley, be good. If this gets out, it won't be good for your Daddy or the woman."

Finley stubbornly shook her head.

Riley had been driven away by Hollis, and staying in the room was her only chance to see Riley.

If they changed rooms, who knew when she'd see Riley again?

Seeing Finley's reaction, Hollis was sure the woman was Riley!

Her anger almost boiled over, but she leaned down and said, "We'll change rooms, and I'll play with you, okay?"
