Chapter 85 I Will Definitely Stand by Your Side
The next morning, as Hollis was having breakfast, she received a call from the driver.
"Miss Sutton, I've found out. CEO Wilder took Finley to see a woman named Monroe last night and spent nearly three hours with her before returning."
Before the bodyguard could finish speaking, Hollis already hang up the phone.
A woman named Monroe, Riley!
Hollis looked extremely unpleasant. Various images of Donovan interacting with Riley flashed through her mind.
'What had Donovan and Riley been up to for over three hours? And they had Finley with them!' she thought.
Hollis couldn't contain her anger. She stood up and threw her phone, her eyes filled with madness.
Across from Hollis, William was having a meal. He suddenly heard the commotion from Hollis' side and frowned as he looked over.
He saw Hollis standing grimly by the table, not far away, a phone shattered on the ground.
"What's going on?" William set down his utensils, his tone serious.
Hollis' eyes trembled as she met her father's gaze. Gritting her teeth, she said, "Riley is back! Donovan seems to have intentions of reconciling with her, and he's been distancing himself from me lately!"
As Hollis spoke, her tone unexpectedly carried a hint of pity.
Upon hearing this, William's expression darkened slightly. "Do your uncle and aunt know?"
As far as William knew, Riley had left with a divorce agreement without a word.
Because of this, Edward and Catherine were also displeased with Riley.
Now, Riley dared to return, even reuniting with Donovan. If Edward and Catherine were to find out about this…
Upon hearing her father's words, a thought flashed through Hollis' mind.
William then affirmed Hollis' idea directly. "Find an opportunity to inform your uncle and aunt about her return. They must be very dissatisfied with that woman."
Hollis nodded and slowly sat back down. Seeing Hollis calm down, William flinched and said with emphasis, "The woman has just returned, and we can't be sure of Donovan's intentions toward her. Don't panic. Over these years, you've been by Donovan's side, and your uncle and aunt have seen how much you've sacrificed. They will definitely stand by your side. There's nothing to fear."
Her father's words reassured Hollis, who regained her composure. "Understood. I'll try to stay calm."
Meanwhile, Riley finished breakfast and sent Landon and Winston to kindergarten early on.
The teacher was waiting at the gate, and when she saw Riley with Landon and Winston, her face was full of concern. "Are Landon and Winston feeling better?"
Riley nodded with a smile. "They've recovered. I appreciate your concern."
Landon and Winston politely greeted the teacher, "Good morning, teacher!"
Seeing how well-behaved Landon and Winston were, the teacher's eyes were filled with affection.
As they were talking, the sound of a car door opening and closing was heard. They instinctively looked up.
Not far away, a conspicuous Bentley was parked by the roadside.
Donovan got out of the car and then lifted Finley from the back seat.
Donovan seemed to want to carry Finley over directly, but Finley, upon seeing the people at the gate, struggled to get down from his arms.
Donovan didn't insist and followed Finley's lead, placing her on the ground.
Just as he was about to reach out to hold her hand, Finley had already taken a few small steps away from him.
Seeing this, Donovan couldn't help but pause, turning his head subconsciously to look towards the gate. He saw Riley and her two boys smiling at Finley, with Riley even taking a few steps towards Finley.
