Chapter 26 She Couldn't Wait Any Longer

"Increase by two points?" Deacon was stunned. "Ms. Sutton, didn't we agree on this before? We are already about to sign the contract. Why suddenly raise the price?"

Seeing his surprised expression, Hollis relaxedly crossed his legs and spoke slowly, "Indeed, we did agree, but the prices in the herbal market have generally gone up this year. If we still sign the contract with you at the original price, we would incur too much loss. I hope Doctor Stone understands."

Deacon frowned, wanting to say something, but was stopped by Riley.

"I think Ms. Sutton suddenly wants to raise the price because of seeing me, right? I am also aware of the prices in the herbal market. We can discuss raising the price, but raising it by two points in one go is unreasonable," Riley said. She had originally planned to sign the contract according to the procedure, but the other party clearly provoked her, and she had no need to tolerate it.

After listening, Hollis displeasingly said, "Regardless of the reason, this is the price now. If you two feel it's inappropriate, our family doesn't have to cooperate with you."
Riley calmly responded, "Since that's the case, we don't need to collaborate. The Sutton Family Group is a company that agrees on prices and then regrets it. Even if we cooperate, we won't feel at ease."
After speaking, Riley stood up and said to Deacon, "Let's go."

Deacon nodded, and the two of them left the coffee shop together.

"Do you have any conflicts with Hollis?" Deacon asked after they left.

During the negotiation just now, he could clearly feel the hostility Hollis had towards Riley.

Riley didn't want to dwell on the past and simply replied, "I suppose."

Seeing that she didn't want to say more, Deacon didn't pursue it and instead brought up the topic of herbal merchants. "If we don't collaborate with the Sutton Family Group, we will have to find another herbal merchant."

Riley nodded. "Then let's find another. H City is so big, besides the Sutton Family Group, there must be other herbal merchants willing to cooperate with us."
"Alright," Deacon said with a smile, nodding his head.

He would rather find another herbal merchant than see Riley being targeted by someone.

In the coffee shop, after Riley left, Hollis's face was filled with coldness as she coldly ordered Beck, "Immediately go and talk to all the herbal medicine merchants in H City. Any one of them that dares to cooperate with the Virus Research Institute is an enemy of our Sutton Family Group!"

Beck did not know what conflict Miss Hollis had with that Dr. Monroe earlier.

But he could clearly feel that ever since seeing Dr. Monroe, there was a chilling air around Miss Hollis.

Now, hearing Hollis's tone, he trembled and immediately agreed, "Yes, I will handle it right away."

After speaking, he got up and left.

For a moment, only Hollis remained in the coffee shop.

Thinking about Donovan's attitude earlier in the morning, as well as the sharp momentum Riley exuded just now, Hollis felt a sense of panic.

Regardless of whether Donovan rejected her because of Riley, there was indeed a past marriage between the two of them, and she was now unsure of Donovan's attitude towards that woman.

If this continued to be delayed, she could not imagine which direction things would go.

She couldn't wait any longer!

The Wilder Corporation.

"Mr. Wilder, I have found information about the man who was with Ms. Monroe last night." Paxton came in from outside and stood respectfully in front of Donovan.
