Chapter 18 Serving You Once Again
The private room was empty.
After Donovan entered, he casually closed the door. For a moment, the only sound in the room was their breathing.
Riley looked around and inexplicably felt a sense of danger. She struggled intensely.
"What do you want to do? Let go of me!"
The next second, the man easily pressed her against the wall.
Their bodies were almost pressed tightly together.
The man's scorching breath enveloped her.
Riley's struggling movement instantly stopped. She leaned against the wall, stiffening her body, even slowing down her breathing unconsciously.
In this distance, any slight change in her breath could potentially touch the person in front of her.
The private room was silent.
Riley gritted her teeth, her mind in chaos.
No matter how much time had passed, the pressure this man gave her remained equally strong.
However, their relationship had changed.
Riley forcefully pinched her palm, forcing herself to calm down.
They were already divorced!
She and Donovan, now there was no connection between them!
They were already people from two different worlds!
With this in mind, Riley took a deep breath and calmly spoke, "Donovan, let go of me. If you have something to say, just say it."
Upon hearing her indifferent tone, Donovan was stunned for a moment. After a moment, he took a step back, but still didn't let go of her.
Riley relaxed in her heart and her expression became tranquil.
"Don't you have anything to say to me?"
Donovan squinted his eyes at the change in her demeanor.
Upon hearing this, Riley's heart remained unaffected, and she calmly said, "Mr. Wilder, we have been divorced for six years. It seems that I have nothing to say to you."
Just as she finished speaking, Donovan forcefully gripped Riley's chin.
She was forced to look up and met the man's eyes.
"What did you just call me?"
Donovan's anger was about to erupt in his eyes.
Suppressing the pain, Riley looked to the side, not speaking.
Seeing her silence, Donovan became even angrier.
Mr. Wilder?
This title seemed unfamiliar!
Well, six years had passed!
This woman, she had always been so heartless, right?
Heartless enough to abandon her own biological daughter!
No one was more heartless than her!
"Riley, why are you pretending to be a stranger in front of me?"
Donovan tightened his grip.
Frowning, Riley looked at him with resistance in her eyes.
Donovan sarcastically smiled, "Weren't you the one who said you liked me, loved me? Now you're pretending to be a stranger? Have you forgotten what you did to me back then? Have you forgotten? But I haven't forgotten!"
Riley was stunned for a few seconds when he brought up the incident from six years ago.
How could she forget that night?
That night, she gave herself completely to him just to earn his favor.
Thinking back to the feeling at the time, Riley felt a chill in her heart. The hand hanging by her side clenched into a fist as she sternly said, "I remember. So what? Does Mr. Wilder now think that you were taken advantage by me? Tell me, how do you want me to compensate you?"
Donovan was furious, and the air in the private room became scarce, causing a sense of oppressiveness.
The pain in his chin became increasingly apparent. Riley still held on, forcing herself to finish her words, "Honestly, that night, you were unconscious and I felt nothing. Now that I think about it, it was nothing more than that. However, I did something wrong to you, so if you want compensation, I have no objection."
Good, after several years, this woman knew how to say things that would anger him.
Donovan narrowed his eyes dangerously.
That night, he indeed had no consciousness and couldn't remember the specifics of the situation.
However, with Riley's tone like this, any man would be provoked.
After a few seconds of silence, Donovan lifted her chin slightly and spoke coldly, "No feeling? Since it gave you such a misunderstanding, I don't mind serving you again."
Panic appeared in Riley's eyes as she looked at the man lowering his head. She wanted to avoid it, but there was nowhere to escape.
