Chapter 105 Madison Goes Crazy
Tom laughed and said, "You're still the same as before, still so sharp-tongued."
Angela, cutting her steak, asked him, "Are you leaving again this time? What's your plan?"
"Not leaving," Tom sighed and said, "I need to think about getting married."
"What? Are you in a hurry?" Angela looked up and asked smilingly, "Aren't you planning to play around for another two years?"
"I'm done playing, or my future wife will run away!" Tom said with a hint of meaning.
Angela asked surprisingly, "Do you have someone in mind?"
Tom smiled mysteriously. "Do you want to know?"
"No." Angela didn't give him the satisfaction.
Tom looked at her, frustrated. He didn't expect her to not follow the script. He had planned to joke about it if she asked, but now he had to swallow his words, making him uncomfortable.
Angela saw him looking gloomy and laughed gleefully.
At a table behind them, Madison was sitting, occasionally checking the time, waiting for Alexander. She had messaged him on Facebook last night, using the excuse of buying some high-quality supplements for Samantha to ask him out.
It had been over twenty minutes, but he still hadn't shown up. However, this was within her expectations. He hated her so much. Why would he come? She smiled indifferently, stretched her arms, picked up the gift box, and left the restaurant, heading straight for the Sinclair Group.
In the afternoon, Kaitlyn was not around. Lillian was preparing materials for the afternoon meeting when she heard the sound of high heels clicking on the floor. The person walked up to Lillian's desk.
"Is Alexander in?" Madison asked, recognizing Lillian and giving her a contemptuous look.
Lillian ignored her gaze and politely asked, "Miss, do you have an appointment?"
Madison sneered, "What are you pretending for? Don't you recognize me? Asking if I have an appointment? Idiot." She said, then tried to barge into the office with the gift.
Lillian stood up to block her. "Sorry, Miss, without an appointment, you can't go in."
"Get out of my way!" Madison pushed her aside. "What right do you have to stop me?" She strode towards the office.
Caught off guard, Lillian was pushed and hit the desk. After steadying herself, she tried to stop Madison but was too late.
She hurriedly followed, watching Madison sway her graceful figure into the office, walk up to Alexander, and gently place her hands on his shoulders, cooing, "Alexander, I came to see you. I missed you."
Seeing this, Lillian quickly lowered her head and closed the door. Sitting back at her desk, she felt an indescribable discomfort. Her 'husband' was meeting his lover. She had to close the door for them? Even though her 'husband' was fake, she still felt awkward.
Kaitlyn returned and saw her in a daze, knocking on her desk. "Why are you daydreaming instead of working?"
"Nothing, a lady just barged into Alexander's office," Lillian snapped back to reality and told her.
Kaitlyn, organizing the materials, said, "Barged into the office? The CEO's office isn't a place where just anyone can enter. She hasn't come out yet, so Alexander must not be angry."
As soon as she finished speaking, the office door opened from the inside. Madison came out, looking like she had just cried, with a face full of resentment.
Lillian kept her head down, busy with work, not looking at Madison's disheveled appearance. But she felt quite happy.
Madison, holding the gift box she hadn't given, glared at Lillian, venting her anger on her.
"You bitch! When are you leaving Alexander? Are you addicted to being his mistress? Do you want to become his wife? Stop dreaming!" Madison, having been verbally abused by Alexander, now vented all her frustration on Lillian.
Her angry voice was loud, and she pointed at Lillian with hatred. Everyone in the office heard and looked over.
Lillian stared at her in shock, dumbfounded, with sweat forming on her forehead and back.
"Do you think that being by his side day and night will make him treat you differently? Do you naively think he will fall in love with you? Stop deluding yourself. Who does he love? He only loves himself! You're just in it for the money, right? You've been his mistress for so long. Take some money and get lost!" Madison blurted out all the information she intentionally wanted people to know in one breath.
'Alexander, you want her? Then I'll make sure everyone knows about your dirty relationship. If I annoy you, then let it be. It's still a form of attention.' Madison thought perversely.
She had come to plead for Blake, but she had lost her way and ended up talking about emotional issues.
"What? Lillian is Alexander's mistress?"
"Oh my God, is this true?"
"Of course, it's true. Didn't you see Kaitlyn choose her as an assistant? It was under Alexander's orders."
Gossip erupted instantly.
Lillian, trembling with anger, stood up and retorted, "Don't speak without knowing! Alexander and I have a legitimate relationship. I'm not his mistress!"
"Then tell us, what legitimate relationship do you have?" Madison asked aggressively.
Lillian gritted her teeth but couldn't say what their relationship was. Everyone in the office held their breath, waiting for an answer.
Kaitlyn, seeing the situation getting out of control, was about to speak when the office door opened. Alexander, with a dark face and full of anger, strode towards Madison.
"What right do you have to question her here?" His cold gaze was like a poisoned blade, "Madison, where do you get the nerve to be so arrogant and shameless? You come to my company to cause trouble. Do you not want to live anymore?"
"Kaitlyn, call security immediately. This woman is never allowed in the company again!" Alexander said, giving a warning look to everyone in the office before turning back to his office.
Security arrived quickly. Madison, still wanting to say something nasty to Lillian, was stopped by Kaitlyn's stern voice. "Madison, enough is enough. Do you want Alexander to come out and kick you out himself?"
Being scolded, Madison didn't dare provoke Kaitlyn and reluctantly left.
Lillian sat there, tears welling up in her eyes but stubbornly refusing to let them fall. She thought, 'Alexander, you scumbag, always dragged me into everything!'
Kaitlyn glanced at her, then walked over to the office, where whispers could still be heard. She sternly said, "Gossiping about the CEO is not something you should be doing. If I hear about today's incident in the company, whoever spreads it will be fired immediately!"
