Chapter 86 Rhett's Plan Failed
Alexander's face darkened with anger as he demanded, "What does this have to do with today? Just tell me, how can I get her back?"
Rhett chuckled, "Getting your wife back is simple. Just transfer all your shares to me, and I'll release her immediately."
Lillian anxiously looked at Alexander, unsure of his response.
Alexander's gaze was sharp as he asked, "Do you keep your promises?"
"Of course," Rhett replied, throwing the folder in front of him. "Sign it, and Lillian can leave."
"Alexander!" Lillian suddenly shouted, "You can't sign! He won't let me go!"
"And even if he does, what about you? Will he let you go?" she pleaded, "Don't fall for his trap."
Rhett raised his hand, ready to strike Lillian, but Alexander stopped him.
"Stop!" Alexander's voice was filled with anger. "Our grievances don't justify violence against a woman."
Rhett lowered his hand and shouted, "Stop the nonsense and sign it."
With the help of a few bodyguards, Alexander immediately signed the transfer of his shares with his bound hands.
Rhett looked at Alexander's signature, laughing. He didn't expect Lillian to be his weakness, causing Alexander to sign so easily.
While Rhett was laughing heartily, Lillian moved closer to him and whispered, "Why did you sign? How could you trust him? He's not a man of his word, and he won't spare you. He might leave both of us stranded on this ship."
Alexander looked at Lillian, "You are my wife, and I must protect you at all costs," he said, giving her a warm smile.
Lillian stared at him in astonishment, her heart pounding erratically. She couldn't tell if he was being serious at that moment or just acting.
Rhett closed the folder and said, "Lillian, you were right. I won't keep my word, and I won't let you go. Congratulations, you guessed correctly. This unfortunate couple will bid farewell to the world."
Lillian, terrified, looked at Rhett and instinctively moved closer to Alexander.
Alexander calmly stood in front of Lillian, "I signed the agreement, let her go, and deal with me!"
"Deal with you? I'm here to deal with you!" Rhett took a step forward. "Alexander, what do you think I should do to make you disappear?"
Lillian felt that Rhett was truly insane! Her hand involuntarily gripped Alexander's clothes.
"We are a family, don't go too far!" Alexander said calmly. "I won't tell Quinn the reason for the share transfer, and you should leave yourself a way out."
Rhett didn't hear what Alexander said and continued, "How about this? There's a psychiatric hospital in Biarritz that has a good environment. I'm acquainted with the director there. I can arrange for you to go in. It shouldn't be difficult. Alexander, you'll have to spend the rest of your life in a mental hospital."
"You're insane!" Lillian couldn't help but curse.
Rhett laughed maniacally, "Oh, Lillian, if you hadn't reminded me, I would have forgotten how to deal with you!"
"What do you want to do?" Lillian asked with a trembling voice.
Rhett said, "You encountered this misfortune when you first arrived at our Sinclair Villa. I don't want to harm you too much, so you can jump into the sea yourself."
"No," Lillian cried, "I don't want to die."
Alexander moved closer to her and comforted her, "Don't cry; we won't die."
He looked at Rhett and said seriously, "If you stop now, there's still time. I won't tell Quinn. But if you persist, no one can save you!"
Rhett laughed, "Hahaha, Alexander, I don't think anyone can save you now, right? Don't forget, this is Biarritz, not Rihegde! You may have been in control in Rihegde, but here, I've already set everything up, just for this moment!"
"Are you saying that you've been planning to deal with me since we returned to the villa?" Alexander asked, his face dark.
"That's right! Do you know how you were drugged? Originally, the drug was meant for Samantha. Who knew that you and Lillian would enjoy it instead? If Samantha had drunk the drugged water, do you think you could still be standing here talking to me?" Rhett said with a smug smile.
What? So Alexander was drugged last night! They are truly despicable, actually preparing the drug for Samantha! Lillian was shattered by Rhett's values, feeling disgusted by him!
Alexander asked, "Aren't you afraid that Quinn will find out about everything you've done? Don't you have any fear of Quinn?"
"Why should I be afraid of Quinn? He's now just a worthless older man. If you die, I'll be the sole son, the inheritor of the company. I have achieved all my desires. By the time his grandson is born, I suspect Quinn will have erased the memory of having a son like you!"
Alexander sighed deeply, "Rhett, you're really pitiful."
"Who should be pitied is you, right?" Rhett laughed again.
Suddenly, someone rushed in and shouted, "Rhett, something's wrong!"
"What's the rush? Is there a dog chasing after you?" Rhett asked, his eyes wide.
One subordinate said, "Rhett, the chairman is here!"
Lillian raised her eyebrows. The chairman? Isn't that Quinn? How did he come? Father and son together? She looked up at Alexander, who seemed calm as if he had known in advance.
Rhett panicked when he heard this. "How did Quinn come? How did he know about this place?"
Amidst the confusion, the sound of a scuffle could be heard outside, and Quinn boarded the ship in a rage.
"Dad!" Rhett was still afraid of Quinn, so he quickly said, "Dad, let me explain. It's not what you think."
A loud slap sent Rhett seeing stars, and his body staggered to the side.
"Dad, please don't be angry." Rhett with fear
Another crisp sound made Rhett stumble.
Lillian hid behind Alexander, her eyes peeking out from his shoulder. She felt relieved when she saw Quinn at that moment.
"Alexander, why did Quinn suddenly come? Did you secretly call him?" Lillian patted his shoulder and asked curiously in a low voice.
