Chapter 298 The Nicknames Linda Gave to the Babies

Amy got angry as she heard Samantha's voice, and her anger only intensified with Samantha's words. She was already upset after being scolded for posting on Facebook with Lillian, and now Samantha was threatening her again. She had put up with Samantha for years and had long wanted to fall out with her!

"Why can't I speak up? I've had enough!" Amy screamed at the top of her lungs. "You bullied me back then and forced me to break up with Alexander. Now that I'm back, do you still want to threaten me? Do whatever you want! Whether they go to jail or the company goes bankrupt, it has nothing to do with me. I am Shae now!"

Seeing Amy's crazed look, Samantha sneered and said, "You still want to be Shae? Sorry, but you might be disappointed. I plan to help you return to your original identity."

"My affairs are none of your business, you lunatic!" Amy shouted.

"Didn't I tell you to keep this secret forever and never tell Alexander? Why didn't you listen to me? Couldn't you just stay abroad and live your life without coming back?" Samantha yelled in anger.

Amy also screamed madly and stomped her foot. "Samantha, now that Alexander knows what you've done, just wait for your relationship to slowly fall apart. If you don't want me to have peace, I won't let you have it either!"

She didn't want to say another word to her and hung up the phone, throwing it onto the bed.

Samantha sneered and said, "I'll be waiting. Go ahead and try to take me on!"

At the hospital, Lillian had dinner and took a nap. When she woke up, her incision was slightly painful. She took the painkillers the nurse had given her earlier, and they worked well. The pain gradually subsided, and she peacefully got through her first night postpartum, though she missed her babies dearly.

Early the next morning, the first visitors were unexpectedly Linda and Justin.

"Lillian, you've suffered," Linda said as she walked steadily over and held Lillian's hand tightly, repeating her words.

After greeting the elders, Lillian said to Linda, "Linda, I'm fine. It was a Cesarean section, so it wasn't too bad."

"Does the incision hurt?" Linda asked with concern.

"It doesn't hurt now," she smiled. "The doctor advised me to get out of bed and walk around today."

Linda lovingly patted her head. "You are truly amazing, you have given the Sinclair family two heirs. Thank you so much!"

"Linda, you're making me blush," Lillian said. "I'm Alexander's wife, it's what I should do."

Justin nodded approvingly and asked Alexander, "Have you named the babies yet?"

Lillian said, "Not yet. We were waiting for you to name them."

Justin smiled. "Their names can't be chosen lightly. I'll think about it carefully when we get home."

Linda said, "I said before that I would choose their nicknames. After getting the call last night, I couldn't sleep well and came up with a nice nickname."

"What is it?" Lillian asked expectantly.

"Sunshine. How about that? Sunshine means brightness and is  full of hope."

Alexander laughed and said, "Grandma, are you serious about this nickname?"

"Be serious. I'm not joking. We'll use this nickname, listen to me," Linda commanded.

Lillian thought it was nice and agreed, softly repeating, "Sunshine." She looked up at Linda and smiled, "It's a pretty cute nickname."

"When you have a daughter in the future, her nickname can be Moonlight or Star. Isn't this nickname cuter??" Linda said, very pleased with Lillian's reaction.

Lillian was very satisfied. After chatting with Lillian for a while, Linda finally suggested going to see the babies.

Alexander said, "Let's go. I'll take you to see them."

Lillian reminded him, "Honey, don't forget to record a video later."

Before leaving, Linda handed Lillian a check. "When you get out of the hospital, reward yourself with some tasty treats."

"Thank you," she said, holding the check and feeling very happy.

Linda said, "Lillian, I'll leave after seeing the babies. Call me if you miss me. Take good care of yourself and don't get upset. I'll visit again another day."

Watching them leave, Lillian happily looked at the check. Just then, more visitors entered the room.

It was Angela and Wendy. They came in excitedly, carrying gift boxes and flowers.

"Why are you here during the day? Aren't you working?" Lillian asked in surprise.

Angela said, "It's such a big deal that you had a baby. Of course, we had to come early to see you."

"I took the morning off. Ms. Phillips asked me to tell you she'll come to see you after work tonight," Wendy said as she put the flowers in a vase on the windowsill.

"Who gave you a check for such a large amount?" Wendy asked in surprise. "Was it from Samantha?"

"It was from Linda. She came before you and is now seeing the babies."

Angela was also surprised by the amount on the check and asked, "Are the babies doing well in the incubator?"

"Alexander said everything is normal. He visits the babies every day and records videos for me to watch. When I see them, my maternal instincts just overflow."

Angela smiled and said, "I've never had a baby, so I can't understand that feeling."

At that moment, a nurse came in and said, "Lillian, it's time to get out of bed and move around."

"Okay," she obediently replied, lifting the covers to get up.

The incision still hurt, a pain that was difficult to put into words. Lillian couldn't straighten up and walked slowly and painfully, bent over.

"Why do I have to go through this even after the surgery? It hurts," Lillian muttered as she walked.

Angela ignored her complaints from the sofa, Wendy found her current state amusing and couldn't help but laugh.
