Chapter 239 Lillian Felt That The Sensation of Fetal Movement Was Wonderful.

The Sinclair family's estate, nestled between the mountains and the water, was truly picturesque. It had a farm, a fish pond, and a garden. As soon as Lillian arrived, she fell in love with the place.

She pointed to the distant hillside and asked, "Are those cows?"

"Yes," Lucas replied.

Lillian glanced around as David approached with a dog. Somewhat afraid of large dogs, she hid behind Alexander. Noticing her fear, David held the leash and made the dog sit.

Alexander said to David, "Keep an eye on the dogs at the estate. For these days, make sure they stay in the kennel."

Lillian patted his shoulder and said sympathetically, "Won't the dogs get bored? I'm not afraid as long as someone is holding them."

Although she was scared, she still liked animals.

Alexander explained, "They're all well-trained and won't harm anyone, but I'am afraid they might scare you. Don't worry. Their living area is comfortable and has plenty of things to play with."

The three of them entered the villa, which was beautifully decorated. It was Lillian's first time there, and she couldn't help but look around.

"Honey, this place is so beautiful!" Lillian exclaimed, feeling her vocabulary was limited because she couldn't think of any other words besides beautiful.

Alexander laughed and said, "If you like it, we can stay here for a while."

He then turned to the servant carrying the luggage and said, "Take it to the main bedroom on the first floor."

The servants, including chefs and a butler, were temporarily transferred from his hotel and were fully equipped.

Thinking about the cows on the hillside, Lucas asked Lillian, "Lillian, do you want to go see the cows?"

"I'm not going. You can go with Larry and the others. It's too far, and I don't feel like moving," Lillian said lazily, lying on the bed.

Perhaps she had been too excited earlier, and now that she had calmed down, she felt weak and just wanted to lie down.

Lucas said sensibly, "Lillian, rest well. I'll go to the farm and pick some fruit for you."

"There are fruits, too," she mumbled, turning over slowly.

Seeing her lazy demeanor, Alexander found her very cute and said with a smile, "Are you sleepy? Then take a nap."

Lillian lay flat, hands on her bump, and said, "I was so excited about going out today that I couldn't sleep last night and woke up early this morning. Now, I'm feeling a bit tired."

Feeling a bit sleepy, she gradually closed her eyes. Suddenly, she sensed a gentle movement in her bump. Her heart skipped a beat, and she opened her eyes wide in surprise, staring at her bump. Excitedly, she called out to Alexander, "Honey!"

"What's wrong?" He asked nervously.

Lillian propped up on her elbows, pointed to her bump, and excitedly said, "The baby moved obviously just now!"

"Really?" Alexander asked in surprise, sitting beside her and feeling her bump. "Where? I'll feel it."

Lillian looked serious. "Let's wait."

Alexander took his hand away and stared at her bump. Lillian also focused on it.

But there was no more movement.

"Why isn't it moving?" Lillian asked disappointedly, shaking her body to try to wake the baby inside.

Alexander felt a bit disappointed, too, but he said to Lillian, "It will move again in the future. No rush."

"However, I wanted you to see it," Lillian said. "Honey, so this is what fetal movement feels like. It's so wonderful to feel life inside you. You'll never experience this in your lifetime."

Alexander laughed helplessly. "What are you talking about? Take a nap before our friends arrive."

"I'm not sleeping. I want to wait for the baby to move again," Lillian said, leaning against the headboard with her hands on her bump.

By the morning, their friends had all arrived, and the estate became lively.

Angela and Wendy came in to find Lillian. "Lillian, we're here!"

Lillian quickly waved to them and remarked, "The baby moved just now. It was amazing!"

As an obstetrician, Angela was used to such things. However, Wendy reacted like Lillian, exclaiming, "Really? What did it feel like?"

The three of them chatted in the room while outside. The servants set up canopies, sun umbrellas, lounge chairs, and various foods in the yard.

Wendy glanced out the window and said, "Lillian, let's go outside. It looks so lively out there. They're playing cards."

Lillian said, "Let's go and take a walk around the estate. Did you see the cow on the hillside? There's also a pond, a farm, everything."

The three of them chatted as they walked out. Tom saw Angela and ran over, saying, "Angela, let's go fishing at the pond together."

"No, I'll walk with Lillian. You find someone else," Angela declined.

Tom didn't mind and said, "Alright, I'll wait for you to come back."

Angela frowned. "Why are you waiting for me? Do your thing." She then quickly walked away with Lillian.

"I'm really speechless. How can I stop Tom pursuing me?" Angela asked, frustrated.

Wendy said, "Tom is from a wealthy family and has a broad perspective. How can he not know how to pursue a girl? I don't like this approach either."

"Lillian, I saw a girl with Oscar earlier. Who is she? Is she his girlfriend?" Wendy asked.

Lillian replied, "She's not his girlfriend. That's Emily, the one I mentioned before."

"I recall now. Emily looks quite compatible with Oscar," Wendy teased.

"Oscar doesn't like her," Lillian said, feeling very resistant.

The estate was really big, with beautiful scenery and complete facilities. When Lillian got tired of walking, a servant drove an electric sightseeing car over. As the three of them got into the car, they enjoyed the breeze, the scenery, and their conversation, feeling very relaxed.

After a tour around the estate, the three of them returned by car. Evelyn had just arrived and waved happily when she saw Lillian. "I'm here!"

Lillian got out of the car and said playfully, "Why are you so late?" As she spoke, she noticed the tall, handsome man with a doting look in his eyes following Evelyn.

Evelyn introduced, "This is my boyfriend, Amos Dalton."
