Chapter 83 Conspiracy

On the other side of the villa, Quinn had breakfast with Eliana, and now he was going to accompany Samantha.
"You've been with me all these days, even celebrating Christmas here. Samantha must be mad at me. When you go back, please speak well of me," Eliana said, leaning in Quinn's arms.
Quinn chuckled, "It's because you know how to seduce me."
Eliana playfully punched Quinn's chest.
Quinn was in his fifties, but he was very good at flirting than a young man.
After Quinn left, Eliana called Rhett and Freya to discuss their plan.
"Mom, Quinn is gone," Rhett and Freya arrived shortly.
"He's gone. Let's get to the point. Rhett, what's going on with your people? Can't even handle such a small task?" Eliana asked angrily.
Rhett cursed in anger, "My subordinates messed up and gave the wrong medicine to Alexander, letting him and his wife enjoy the whole night!"
Eliana frowned and questioned sternly, "How could you mess this up? I told you to drug Samantha with an aphrodisiac so that your father would see her having sex with another man. He would definitely be furious and teach them a lesson, and she would be defenseless! Look at what's happening now; the plan has failed!"
"They're all a bunch of useless idiots!" Eliana cursed in anger. "Then let me ask you, if the subordinates you arranged didn't drug Samantha, how did Alexander end up with the drug?" Eliana added.
Rhett was also speechless about this coincidence. He sighed and said, "The subordinates said that Samantha asked for ice water and specifically asked Savannah from the villa to bring it to her. It just so happened that Alexander came back drunk and wanted coconut water, so Savannah brought both cups over. I didn't expect that these two cups were exactly the same, and that idiot Savannah mixed up the ice water meant for Samantha and accidentally gave it to Alexander."
Eliana shouted, "It makes me so angry! All our previous preparations have been in vain!" Eliana slammed the armrest of the sofa in anger.
In order for Quinn to see the carefully orchestrated drama, she had put in a lot of effort, meticulously planning the details, making the location, time points, and characters all ready and clear so that no one could tell it was intentional. But at the critical moment, it was ruined by an accident.
Eliana asked again, "You said before that Alexander and Lillian were acting strange. Have you found out anything these days? Is there really something wrong?"
Rhett shook his head and said, "Maybe I was just being suspicious. Mom, look, these are all photos of them that were taken secretly." As he spoke, he handed the phone to Eliana.
The photos were all pictures of Alexander and Lillian. There were smiles exchanged, glances exchanged, affectionate looks, hugs, and the scene of him walking away with her on his back.
Freya clicked her tongue and asked, "Rhett, who took these photos? They're really good; even the ones taken secretly are so beautiful! I want to keep two of them to show Lillian."
Eliana shouted, "You better not talk nonsense!" Eliana handed the phone back to Rhett and glared at Freya.
"Looking at their relationship, it seems really good; there should be no problem," Eliana said.
Rhett still had some concerns and said, "Mom, do we really have to do something to Lillian? If Alexander knows it's us, and he won't let it go!"
"Rhett, why are you so cowardly? What's Alexander to be afraid of? You're just like him; both of you are Quinn's sons, and your abilities are not inferior to his. You are your father's first son, the primary heir! Everything should be yours!" Eliana scolded Rhett in anger and helplessness.
Freya echoed, "Rhett, Mom is right. You are also Quinn's son. Why should everyone pay more attention to Alexander when we go out together? In the future, who knows who will be the one in power in this family? Wait until I have a child. Then we will have another ace in hand, and Lillian and her child will be ignored by Quinn!"
Rhett said, "Mom, I'm not being cowardly; it's just that you're underestimating Alexander too much! I've known him for so many years. He's ruthless and will retaliate for the slightest grievance—it's not an exaggeration! I think this plan is not good enough. Let's discuss it in detail after we return to the country."
"Rhett, this time he came alone, and it's the perfect opportunity. Once we want to get rid of him after we return to the country, it won't be easy." Eliana replied and patted his shoulder heavily.
Rhett pondered and asked uncertainly, "So, should we do it?"
Eliana said, "Think about it: when you become the largest shareholder of the Sinclair Group, do you think we should do it?"
Rhett let out a long breath and nodded silently.
Lillian and Alexander rode their electric bikes to Hall House. Neither of them said a word. Alexander glanced at the band-aid on his neck, and his mind still retained a bit of the crazy scene with her last night—Alexander was so miserable that he felt a little guilty.
"We're going to Hall House for dinner tonight. If you don't want to go, stay at the villa, I'll have the servants make whatever you want to eat." Alexander said to her in a gentle and soft voice.
"No, I don't want to eat anything," Lillian responded coldly.
Alexander, seeing her cold attitude, didn't want to make things worse, so he didn't speak to her again.
Braxton was very happy to see Alexander and Lillian come to visit him together.
"Braxton, I didn't come to visit you early in the morning; it's my fault; I'm sorry." Lillian apologized sincerely.
"Hahaha!" Braxton laughed heartily, full of energy, "It's okay, I can understand. I also hope that you will have a baby soon; I'm looking forward to holding my great-grandchild!"
Lillian's face turned red to the base of her neck, and she subconsciously glanced at Alexander, then glared at him angrily.
In Braxton's eyes, this scene seemed like they were flirting with each other.
Braxton said, "Alright, now that you've visited me, you can go back."
Alexander and Lillian came out of Hall House and stood at the door, but there was no electric bike in sight. There wasn't a single one around.
Alexander said, "Let's go; I'll take you back." Alexander took a step forward.
Alexander stopped in his tracks, turned to look at her, and couldn't help but furrow his brow as he asked, "Why can't you keep up with me?"
Lillian was so angry; she had been tired all night and had been treated roughly. Her body was in pain. She took a step forward, stood still, glared at him fiercely, and gritted her teeth, "Do you think I don't know it hurts?"
