Chapter 432 I Am Your First Love

Wendy shyly glanced around and whispered to him, "Can you be a bit more restrained outside?"

"What's there to be afraid of? It's normal for couples to kiss," Caspian said, cupping her face and giving her a forceful kiss on the lips.

Wendy, embarrassed and angry, hit him lightly and looked around again, but no one seemed to notice them.

Caspian whispered in her ear, "See, no one is watching us."

Wendy pinched his waist unceremoniously and said, "It doesn't work if no one is watching!"

Caspian winced in pain.

After that, Wendy and Caspian slowly strolled inside. The market was still mainly about food, but there were also small stalls selling various items. Whenever Wendy saw a stall selling things girls like, she would stop to look and choose, and Caspian would help her pick.

"Caspian, have you ever gone shopping with Evelyn before?" she suddenly asked.

Caspian was taken aback, "Why do you ask?"

Wendy said, "It's nothing. I just feel like you're good at taking care of girls. Like just now when we were buying things, you gave me advice when I didn't know what to choose. I think most guys would be impatient, but you weren't."

"So, you think I got this from training with Evelyn?" he asked teasingly.

"Isn't that the case?" she asked curiously.

Caspian said, "I never dated Evelyn, so I never had the chance to go shopping with her. I wasn't trained by Evelyn. I help you pick things because I genuinely want to, and seeing you happy makes me happy too."

"Caspian, you're so sweet," Wendy said, leaning her head on his arm and acting coy.

"I told you I would be good to you, and I mean it," Caspian said. "Also, I don't have a rich dating experience, and I don't want you to feel uneasy being with me. If you have any doubts, just tell me, and I'll explain so we won't have any misunderstandings. Got it?"

"I got it," Wendy said with a giggle. "I don't have a dating experience either, so if you want to know anything, just ask me directly."

"Speaking of which, I do have something to ask you," he said with interest, smiling. "Do you think I'm more handsome or is Aaron?"

Wendy said, "I knew you were going to ask about him. Of course, you're more handsome. I don't think anyone can compare to you."

"That's what I like to hear. I think what you had with Aaron wasn't dating. You seemed a bit naive before, not knowing if you liked Aaron or just idolized him. To be precise, I'm your first love!"

"How do you know I didn't date anyone in school?" Wendy asked, amused by his confident assertion.

"You're so well-behaved, you didn't have a boyfriend. I bet even if a guy pursued you, you'd be so scared and avoid him."

Wendy rolled her eyes in defiance but said nothing.

In her heart, she thought,' Okay, you're right about everything.'

"Why aren't you saying anything? Did I guess right?" Caspian asked smugly.

Wendy changed the subject, pointing ahead, "Let's go, I want some ice cream."

From the entrance to the exit of the market, Wendy ate a lot of food. What she couldn't finish, she gave to Caspian. Finally, when they couldn't eat anymore, they left the market and drove home.

Wendy and Caspian walked hand in hand into the yard. Moonlight shone into the yard. The main house had a warm orange light on, looking very cozy.

The guest room was dark; Jessica and Patrick were already asleep.

Wendy and Caspian stood in the yard, reluctant to part.

Wendy whispered, "Good night, I'm going in."

Caspian opened his arms and also whispered, "Come, let me hug you one more time."

Wendy laughed and fell into his arms.

"Caspian, do you like me a lot?" Wendy asked with a giggle. "The way you are now is nothing like what you said before, that you only liked me a little."

She emphasized the "a little" on purpose.

"Are you feeling proud?" Caspian teased, squeezing her a bit.

Caspian, a bit embarrassed, smiled and said to Wendy, "Our relationship is improving. We've been together for over a month now. Now, I like you a lot!"

"Caspian, hearing you say that makes me so happy, really happy! The person I like also likes me, I feel so blessed!"

She hugged his waist tightly and said emotionally, "Caspian, thank you."

Caspian gently stroked her hair, lifted her shoulders, looked at her deeply, and slowly lowered his head.

"In such hot weather, aren't you two hot-hugging each other?" Suddenly, Jessica's voice came from the house, sternly shouting, "Caspian, what are you doing?"

Anyone would be startled by such a sudden shout late at night.

Caspian was no exception. He hadn't even kissed her yet and was so scared he reflexively looked around.

Jessica pushed open the window, looked at Wendy and Caspian with a stern expression, and angrily said, "I told you two to keep your space, and you forgot so quickly. Now you're kissing right in front of me!"

"Mom!" Wendy stomped her foot and said, "Are you trying to freak us out?"

"Just giving you a lesson!" Jessica said. "You should come in now!"

Wendy asked Caspian, "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine," Caspian smiled at her. "You go in, good night. Sleep early, I'll come to wake you up in the morning."

"Good night, you sleep early too," Wendy said, turning to go inside.

After washing up, Wendy climbed into bed, turned her back to Jessica, and went to sleep.

Jessica glanced at her back, smiled silently, and closed her eyes to sleep as well.

Around three in the morning, it started to drizzle.

At five o'clock, Caspian sent Wendy a message on Facebook, telling her to get up. The buzzing of the phone woke Wendy and also woke Jessica.

Wendy replied and forced herself to get up, and started washing up, putting on makeup, and choosing her outfit.

Jessica saw Wendy busy so early and knew she was going out with Caspian, so she couldn't help but ask, "Where are you going?"

"We're going hiking."

Wendy looked in the mirror, smiled with satisfaction, put on her small backpack, and said to Jessica, "Mom, I'm heading out." Then she happily went out.
