Chapter 402 Does Mr. Martin Have a Girlfriend?

Aaron smiled and said, "I feel pretty good too. Being with you makes me feel especially comfortable."

Wendy, while eating her steak, asked with concern, "Are you going back to the set tonight?"

"Do you not want me to leave?" Aaron blinked and asked mischievously.

"Not really, I'm just worried you'll be too tired."

"So, you mean you don't mind me leaving?" Aaron said with a sad expression.

"Stop teasing me," Wendy said coyly.

Aaron said, "Okay, I won't tease you. Of course, I have to go back. I have to shoot tomorrow. While I'm not around, you need to take good care of yourself."

"I will. You remind me every day. You also need to take care of yourself; filming is so exhausting."

"When do you have a break? Come stay with me on set for a few days," Aaron asked.

"What?" Wendy was stunned. 'Go to the set to stay with him? Wouldn't that mean leaving Ridgewood? Staying in a hotel by herself at night? Or would Aaron stay with her? If he stayed, would they share a room?' A lot of thoughts suddenly popped into her mind.

"If I take a break, it would have to wait a while," Wendy said. "If I come to stay with you, won't it disturb your filming?"

"How could it?" Aaron said nonchalantly. "Then come stay with me for a few days when the time comes."

Wendy said thoughtfully, "Let's decide then. I don't know if I'll need to work overtime during that time."

"I think I'll ask Ms. Phillips for leave then. She should agree," Aaron said proudly. "I have such a beautiful girlfriend; I need to introduce you to my friends on set."

"Let's not trouble Ms. Phillips."

"Wendy, do you not want to come?"

"That's not it. I'd be happy to come stay with you."

"Then I'll make the decision. Just be ready."

Wendy nodded and agreed, "Alright then."

After a romantic dinner, Wendy came out of the restaurant holding a large bouquet of red roses and got into the car with him.

In the car, Aaron gave her a Valentine's Day gift, a pair of earrings with sparkling silver diamonds that looked very expensive.

"Do you like them?" Aaron asked cautiously. "I didn't have much time while filming, so I bought them whenever I could."

"I love them!" Wendy said happily.

"Here, let me put them on for you." Aaron took out the earrings and helped her put them on.

Wendy looked at him and said shyly, "I also have a gift for you. But compared to what you gave me, it seems insignificant."

She took a rectangular box wrapped in packaging out of her bag and handed it to him, saying, "This is for you."

It was a belt she bought at the mall.

"I know your things are all luxury items, but those are too expensive for me. I thought this one was nice. I hope you don't mind," Wendy said, embarrassed.

Aaron said, "Wendy, this is the first gift you've given me. How could I mind? I like it."

He leaned forward, hugged her, and whispered in her ear, "I like everything my girlfriend gives me."

Wendy hugged his waist and asked, "Aaron, can I ask you a question?"

"Sure."

"Why did you agree to date me? Aren't there suitable people in the film industry for you?"

Aaron said, "I don't date people in the film industry. My grandfather also doesn't want me to do that."

"Is that so?" She asked again, "I heard from Tom that your family is also very wealthy. Didn't your grandfather introduce you to girls from wealthy families?"

Aaron smiled, "Wendy, with our family's financial strength, there's no need for me to marry for alliances. As long as I don't date someone from the film industry, my grandfather will agree. Don't feel inferior; you come from a well-educated family, and my grandfather will like you."

He lifted her shoulders excitedly and said, "I'll take you home to meet my grandfather!"

"What?" Wendy was stunned. "Aren't you going back to the set tonight? Isn't it too soon to meet your grandfather? I'm not ready yet."

Aaron looked at her, and soon, he laughed and said, "I'm being too hasty."

He sat up straight and said, "Do you want to watch a movie? Or do something else?"

Wendy said, "I'm afraid if we watch a movie, the entertainment reporters will take pictures of us again. Let's not go. I don't want to do anything else either. Let's just chat in the car."

"Wendy, you're so considerate," he said with a smile, leaning over and suddenly planting a kiss on her forehead.

Wendy's eyes widened. 'He kissed me! Kissed by my idol! No, my boyfriend!' Besides her heart pounding wildly, she also felt a bit uneasy.

Caspian suddenly appeared in her mind.

Wendy quickly shook her head and said to herself, 'Don't think about Caspian.'

Aaron asked curiously, "Wendy, why are you shaking your head? Do you think my kiss is dirty?"

"No, I'm just too excited," Wendy quickly explained.

"Don't be excited, you'll get used to it," Aaron said, patting her head.

Lillian and Alexander left the party a bit earlier. He took her to the company and even stopped on the way to buy her a large bouquet.

"In my memory, you rarely gave me flowers," Lillian said with a smile, looking down at the bouquet in her arms.

Alexander felt a bit embarrassed and said, "That's my fault. I'll change."

"How will you change? Tell me," Lillian asked casually.

Alexander said, "How else can I change? I'll just give you flowers every day."

Lillian pouted, "I thought you had some new idea. It feels so perfunctory."

She then turned to Kevin in the front and said, "Mr. Martin, it's Valentine's Day. Do you have any plans for tonight?"

Kevin was a bit surprised to be suddenly addressed and replied, "Mrs. Sinclair, I don't have a girlfriend."

"That's true. With this kind of job, it would be strange if you had a girlfriend," Lillian said. "Do you have a girl you like?"

"Lillian, Kevin doesn't usually get to meet many girls. Don't ask him that," Alexander said, seeing her intention and stopping her.

Lillian said, "How can he not meet any? There are plenty of girls in our company. There are also girls in the secretarial department. What if there's someone Mr. Martin likes?"

"Mrs. Sinclair, there isn't. I don't plan on finding a girlfriend right now."

"You're not getting any younger; you can't stay single forever," Lillian said. "Mr. Martin, you're quite a catch. Finding a girlfriend shouldn't be hard. I'll try to find someone suitable for you."

Alexander squeezed her hand and said, "Lillian, Mr. Martin's matters are for me to handle. You don't need to worry about it."
