Chapter 378 Forced Kiss Alexander
At dinner time, the whole family gathered together and had a lively meal.
"Kelly, it seems like we're running low on groceries at home. How about we go out and buy some more tomorrow?" Lillian asked from the dining table, craning her neck towards the kitchen.
Kelly walked out of the kitchen, smiling, and said, "Lillian, did you forget? You and Alexander are going to Aetherland, right? So we didn't stock up on too many groceries, just enough for Melvin and me."
After speaking, Kelly glanced at Oscar and said, "Clara is back, and I'm not sure if Oscar will stay at home. I haven't had the chance to ask yet."
Oscar quickly responded, "Kelly, of course, I'll stay here with you and Melvin. I'm not going anywhere!"
"And me too!" Lucas raised his hand hurriedly, afraid that Kelly might forget about him.
Lillian looked at Oscar and said to Kelly, "They both have to stay with you this time. I almost forgot about the trip to Aetherland. I want to stay with you all."
She then turned to Alexander with a pitiful look and asked, "Honey, can we skip the trip to Aetherland this time? I don't want to go, and the kids don't want to go either."
After finishing his meal, Alexander didn't leave the table immediately. Instead, he stayed by Lillian's side, playing on his phone and listening to their conversation.
"We have to go on the trip," Alexander said, lifting his head from his phone. "But we can go after this holiday."
"Really?" Lillian asked in surprise.
"Of course, it's true," Alexander replied.
He affectionately pinched her cheek and asked with a smile, "Are you happy now?"
"Honey!" Lillian was overjoyed, throwing her arms around his neck and giving him a big kiss on the cheek. "I'm so happy! You're the best!"
Lucas covered his face and exclaimed, "Lillian, you let us see you kiss Uncle Alexander!"
"So what? He's my husband. I have every right to kiss him. Who dares to disagree?" Lillian said smugly, holding onto Alexander's shoulder and looking at Lucas.
Oscar chuckled and said to Lucas, "Come on, Lucas, let's not watch them being all lovey-dovey! I'll take you to play in the snow!"
"It's evening, and it's cold. Wear more clothes," Lillian reminded them from behind, concerned.
Alexander, still held by Lillian, couldn't stop laughing and asked, "Can you let go of me now?"
Lillian laughed so hard at his words that she bent over, but she was still reluctant to take her arms off his neck.
"Kiss me, and I'll let you go," Lillian said playfully, tilting her head and raising an eyebrow at him.
"Is one kiss enough?" Alexander asked. "I'm afraid if I kiss you once, you'll want a second one!"
"So what? If I want to kiss, you just keep kissing me!" Lillian said dominantly, grabbing his collar and pulling him close, kissing him assertively.
It was an unprecedented experience; being kissed by Lillian felt so wonderful! Alexander was kissed passionately by her. Although Lillian's kissing skills were a bit lacking, with a little practice, she would surely get better.
After a long, passionate kiss, Lillian's cheeks were flushed as she shyly looked at Alexander. By the end of the kiss, he had taken the lead and was in control.
"Honey, you're so charming when you're assertive!" Alexander whispered in her ear, "I like it!"
Lillian shivered at his words, pulled away, stood up, and said with a blushing face, "You're so annoying!"
Alexander watched her flee in embarrassment and laughed, shrugging his shoulders.
Since it was confirmed that they would spend the holiday at home, Lillian started to get busy.
The next day, she took Kelly and Gina to the market. They bought a lot of groceries. After the market, they went to buy boxes of various fruits. Then they went to the supermarket, grabbing all kinds of dried fruits, nuts, and snacks. It wasn't until Kevin called to say there was no more room in the car that she finally stopped.
Last year, when she married into the Sinclair family, she couldn't do anything. But this year, she felt much more at ease and went on a shopping spree.
"Lillian, don't you think we bought too much stuff?" Kelly asked helplessly.
Lillian looked back and said, "The more, the better. It makes me comfortable."
In the past, even during holidays at Lisa's house, there was hardly anything, and it was always desolate. Deep down, Lillian longed for a lively family gathering, with plenty of food and drinks. However, every winter break, Lisa would lose her temper and argue with Harry. In her memory, no holiday was ever peaceful. This left an indelible mark on her heart.
So this year, she was determined to fulfill her childhood wish: a sumptuous dinner, a variety of fruits and snacks after meals, and a harmonious family watching TV and chatting together.
When Alexander came home in the evening and saw the results of her shopping spree, he was taken aback.
"Honey, I think this stuff will last us a long time."
"It's okay. We have freezers and refrigerators in the warehouse; it won't go bad."
That day, someone rang the doorbell outside. Lillian went out to see that Emily had arrived, holding a gift box.
"Lillian, I came to see you," Emily said with a smile.
That day, Emily was dressed very stylishly, wearing a white sweater and a red wool coat.
"Welcome." Lillian didn't expect Emily to visit.
