Chapter 152 Alexander Decides to Change Room

Angela quickly shot a message in the group chat: [Got it.] For a moment, Lillian wasn't sure if Alexander would let her go on a gathering among friends. But she thought, she was pregnant, not in jail. He couldn't stop her from seeing friends. She also replied: [Got it.]

"Lillian!" Luke opened the car door, grinning ear to ear, and hopped in.

Lillian put away her phone, hugged him, and asked, "Why are you so happy?"

"Of course I'm happy! You and Uncle Alexander came to pick me up!" Luke said proudly. "I even told my classmates I'm gonna have a little brother."

Lillian laughed. "Maybe don't talk about that at school anymore."

"Why not? Kelly said it's a good thing!" Luke asked, confused.

Hearing their chat as he got into the car, Alexander said to Luke, "Don't say that if Lillian doesn't want you to."

"Got it," Luke whispered to Lillian. "Lillian, Uncle Alexander is totally on your side."

Lillian gently patted his head and glanced at Alexander.

After they got home and had dinner, Lillian followed Alexander to the study.

"Alexander, Kaitlyn messaged me on Facebook today, suggesting I keep up with my foreign language studies even though I'm home. She must know about my situation, right?" Lillian asked.

Alexander nodded. "She knows."

"That explains why she's giving me less homework and told me to submit it whenever I finish," Lillian said. "We shouldn't stop our tutoring sessions either."

"As long as you don't fall asleep," Alexander teased.

Lillian perked up and listened closely. She could smell his faint cologne, which kept her awake.

Considering her condition, Alexander didn't teach too much. After covering the key points, he said, "Remember these, and I'll test you later."

"Okay," Lillian agreed, packed up her books, and stayed seated, clearly having something more to say.

"Got something else on your mind?" Alexander asked.

Lillian smiled gently. "Wendy invited me to dinner tomorrow. We agreed on it. Can I go?"

"Of course," Alexander agreed without hesitation.

"Really?" Lillian said, surprised and happy. "I was afraid you wouldn't agree. Can you tell Grandma for me?"

"Sure, I'll talk to Grandma," Alexander said.

"Thank you so much!" Lillian said happily. "I'll head back to my room now. Don't work too late."

"Okay," Alexander said.

Lillian left happily, and Alexander's face bore a meaningful smile.

The next morning, after breakfast, Alexander and Luke went out. Bored, Lillian opened the online forum in her room. After a few days away, there were tons of new replies.

Lillian: [Hey everyone, I'm pregnant.]

Even though it was morning and fewer people were online, her post still sparked a discussion, and many replied.

[This is so unexpected! Princess Seven, are you keeping the baby?]

[Princess Seven, please release a comic series. I want to see Crazia Alex's comic expressions!]

[Didn't expect such news in the morning! I want to know Crazia Alex's thoughts. Also, I agree with the person above. I want to see the comic too!]

Lillian replied to each message. She imagined Alexander as a comedic character. After some thought, she decided to give it a try.

As she was seriously drawing on her tablet, Kelly suddenly knocked and entered, saying, "Lillian, Mr. Sinclair wants to change your room."

"Why? I'm pretty comfortable here," Lillian said.

Kelly smiled. "Mr. Sinclair gave you a huge first-floor bedroom because he's worried about you climbing the stairs."

"Oh, I see." Lillian thought this arrangement was quite good.

Kelly said, "Let me help you move your stuff. The new room is spacious and well-illuminated."

"Really? No need for a big room just for myself," Lillian said.

Kelly smiled but said nothing.

Kelly quickly gathered Lillian's few belongings and escorted her to the new room.

The new room had a lovely window view of the trees. The country-style room was spacious.

"Kelly, why is there a double bed? And it's huge. I could roll around on it by myself," Lillian joked as she sat on the bed.

"Do you like this room? Mr. Sinclair had this desk moved in, saying you like to study," Kelly said.

Lillian smiled, thinking he was teasing her.

Linda walked in, inspecting the room like a leader, nodding. "This room is nice. You and Alexander can stay here, saving you from climbing the stairs."

Lillian listened but didn't dare to speak. In her heart, she thought, 'Grandma, this room is for me alone.'

After lunch, Lillian returned to her room for a nap. When she woke up, she took a bath, did her makeup, curled her hair, and finally picked out a beautiful outfit to go out.

Before leaving, she called Alexander and asked, "I'm about to leave. If GrandmaLindasees me, how should I explain it to her?"

Alexander said, "Go out and check first. If Linda is in the living room, just avoid her. Don't worry, I've already told her you're going out."

"Alright, I'll go check." Lillian hung up the phone and quietly left her room.

She was lucky. Linda wasn't in the living room. If Linda had seen her dressed so beautifully, she would have surely scolded her.

Outside the door, Lillian saw Kevin standing by the car, playing with his phone. Hearing her, he looked up and smiled. "Mr. Sinclair asked me to pick you up."

"Really?" she asked, surprised. "That's great, no need to squeeze into the subway."

Kevin opened the car door for her and said, "It's definitely not good for you to take the subway now."

Indeed, the baby's arrival had changed everything.

Wendy had booked a restaurant with a girly theme for tonight. It was all pink inside, and the patrons were all girls.

When Lillian arrived, she said to Kevin, "Thank you, Mr. Martin. I'll message you on Facebook when we're almost done."

"Alright, Ms. Hill. Have a good time," Kevin replied.

Lillian entered the restaurant and saw Wendy and Angela already there, happily chatting by a window seat.

She quickly walked over and sat down, saying, "Sorry I'm late."

"Why did a driver bring you today? Aren't you working?" Angela asked, puzzled, having noticed earlier.

Lillian smiled and was about to speak when suddenly, they heard some girls in the restaurant exclaiming, "He's so handsome!"

"Yeah, yeah! Is he single?"

"Is he a celebrity? He's tall, has a great figure, and is really handsome! Is this a show?"

The three of them saw the handsome man they were talking about. They couldn't help but widen their eyes. Alexander had arrived!
