Chapter 349 Lillian Got Jealous
Alexander accompanied Lillian on the snow tube, and they had a marvelous time. The long slope rushed them downward, the wind whistling past their ears, mingling with Lillian’s delighted screams. Despite the frigid winter air, they ended up breaking a sweat from all the fun.
"Honey, let's take a break," Lillian said, panting as she got off the snow tube.
Alexander said, "There's a cabin over there. Let's go get something to eat."
Inside the cabin, there were a few tables. The owner of the cabin was preparing steaming hot food at the door.
"I want this," Lillian said, holding a paper box and starting to put food in it, while Alexander went to the other side to see what else there was to eat.
At this moment, Amy suddenly appears beside Lillian, angrily shouting at her, "I got this first!"
After the initial shock, Lillian could only say, "Alright, I'll let you have this." After saying that, she went to get other food. Amy seemed to be deliberately opposing her, reaching out to grab more food and shouting, "I want this too!"
Jared hurriedly came in from outside and saw Amy shouting at Lillian. He quickly walked over, apologetically smiled at Lillian, and then gently said to Amy, "Amy, go sit over there and wait. I'll get it for you."
Amy glared at Lillian and went to find a table to have a seat.
Hearing the commotion, Alexander came over to ask Lillian, "Honey, what's going on?"
"Nothing, Amy thought I was taking her food. Jared came over, so it's fine," Lillian said nonchalantly.
After purchasing their items, Alexander deliberately chose a table that was farthest from Amy for himself and Lillian. As they were merrily chatting and eating, Amy suddenly waved enthusiastically at Alexander from the distance, cheerfully shouting, "Alexander!"
Lillian was eating and was so startled by the shout that she choked. Tears and snot came out together as she coughed.
Alexander quickly handed her a tissue. After she cleaned up, she looked up to see Amy already sitting next to Alexander, looking at him with deep affection.
"Alexander, you were amazing in the school debate competition!" Amy said admiringly. "By the way, are you performing a piano solo at the New Year's party?"
Lillian looked at Alexander in confusion and asked quietly, "Alexander, when did this happen?"
Alexander shifted slightly to the side, recalling her words. He vaguely felt that it should have been from their middle school days. "Amy, what grade are you in this year?" he asked tentatively.
Amy said in surprise, "Alexander, what's wrong with you? We only have one year left until graduation!"
Hearing the commotion, Jared came over and said to Amy, "Amy, let's go back to our table to eat."
"Why? I have lunch with Alexander every day," Amy instructed him. "Go get my lunch."
Jared stood there stunned for a moment, then went to get her food.
Lillian had never seen anything like this. Although she knew Amy had serious mental issues, seeing her happily talking non-stop next to Alexander made her a bit unhappy.
Alexander interrupted Amy and said, "Amy, listen to me first."
"Why are you here?" Amy suddenly screamed, glaring at Lillian. Then she said to Alexander, "Alexander, it was her, who fighting with me for food just now."
Lillian rolled her eyes at her and said to Alexander, "Honey, let's go."
"How shameless are you? Who are you calling honey? Alexander is my boyfriend!" Amy declared, grabbing Alexander's arm and looking at Lillian with disdain.
Alexander pulled his arm away and said to Lillian, "Honey, you go outside and wait for me. I'll handle this."
"Alright," Lillian said as she got up and left.
Jared came over at this moment, and Alexander said to him, "Amy's memories have reverted to our middle school days again. It's not convenient for me to say much to her right now because I'm afraid of upsetting her. Please take your time talking to her."
"What do you want to talk to me?" Amy grabbed Alexander's arm and urgently asked, "Why did you call that woman honey? Are you with her?"
Alexander said to Jared, "I have arranged an appointment with a psychiatrist from Atlanter for next month. I will get in touch with you then."
"Okay, thank you, Mr. Sinclair. I'll cover the fee," Jared said.
"This cost should be covered by the Sinclair family. You just take care of her," Alexander said, patting his shoulder before turning to leave.
"Alexander! Come back!" Amy stomped her foot in anger and said to Jared, "What's going on? Tell me quickly."
Lillian's good mood was gone. When she saw Alexander come out, she said to him, " I want to go home."
"Alright, let's go home," Alexander agreed readily.
Driving home, Alexander comforted her, "Amy is often having memory lapses. Don't get angry with her; it's not worth it."
"Yes, I understand, but I still get jealous. She was holding your arm so intimately; who would feel comfortable seeing that?" Lillian said unhappily, feeling wronged.
Alexander said helplessly, "We didn't expect to run into her when we came out to have fun. It was just a coincidence. I pulled my arm away as soon as she grabbed it; you saw that, right?"
Lillian couldn't help but laugh. "I saw it. I'm not blaming you or mad at you. I'm just frustrated and don't know where to vent."
"Don't be angry. I'll take you to eat something delicious. What do you want to eat?" Alexander asked.
Lillian thought for a moment and said, "Let's buy something good for the family. They've been working hard lately."
The family she mentioned naturally included Kelly, Melvin, Gina, Heather, and Patricia.
"Sure, let's buy more. If we can't finish it, we can take it home for them!" Alexander said with a smile. "You're so kind."
Suddenly, Lillian's phone rang. It was a voice call from Lisa. She answered, "Hello, Lisa."
"Lillian, Alexander's birthday is coming up. Do you have any plans? If not, come to my place and celebrate. I'll make something delicious for him. And I miss Henry and William."
Lillian was speechless, thinking Lisa was using Alexander's birthday as an excuse to see the kids.
