Chapter 321 Interrogation

Linda, puzzled, asked, "The Anderson family?"

Melvin replied, "Mr. Colin Anderson and Mr. Neil Anderson, along with their wives."

Linda was even more confused and looked at Samantha, asking, "Did something happen? Why are they here?"

Lillian instinctively glanced at Alexander, who seemed not to hear and was playing with their children.

Samantha was also baffled and had a bad premonition. She said, "Mom, I don't know either. Maybe we shouldn't let them in."

Dissatisfied, Justin said, "Since they're here, let them in."

The four entered, each with different expressions—anger, sadness, but none with a pleasant face.

Melvin led them to the sofa, and Justin sat in the middle. Despite their displeasure, they remained respectful as juniors.

"We truly didn't wish to intrude, but there is a matter we are eager to understand, which has brought us here." Colin Anderson, Amy's biological father, said politely.

Justin slightly raised his eyebrows and nodded. "Just say it."

"Alright, I'll say it then." Colin's gaze lingered on Samantha for a moment, then he glanced at Alexander and began, "A few days ago, Neil and I received an anonymous recording and document. The document contains evidence about the car accident involving Shae and Amy years ago, as well as related hospital records."

These words left the Sinclair family puzzled and they wondered, 'The car accident years ago was handled routinely by the police and hospital. What do these newly surfaced evidence and records mean?'

Neil, unable to contain his anger, stood up from the sofa. "Colin, why are you still being polite? Let me say it!" He glared at Samantha, pointed at her, and asked sternly, "Mrs. Samantha Sinclair, was the car accident years ago orchestrated by you? Furthermore, did you orchestrate the swapping of Amy and Shae's identities in the hospital?"

Hearing this, Justin and Lindal looked at Samantha in shock and disbelief.

Lillian also showed her surprise, although she already knew, while Alexander remained calm and called the nanny to take the children upstairs.

Samantha's heart trembled. She clenched her fists, forcing herself to stay calm, and said to Neil in a steady voice, "Mr. Neil Anderson, you can't go shooting your mouth off! Don't slander me in front of the entire Sinclair family!"

Neil sneered, "Samantha, do you think we'd come here to confront you without evidence?"

Samantha's eyes widened, her mind racing. 'How could they have discovered something I have done so perfectly back then? Or are they just here to test me based on rumors?'

Seeing the tension, Justin frowned and said coldly to Neil, "If you have evidence, show it to us. Then we can discuss how to resolve this."

"Dad, don't you believe me?" Samantha asked, her voice trembling with guilt.

Justin sneered, "It's precisely because I trust you that I told them to show the evidence. I'm itching to see what's really behind the events of those years."

Colin scolded Neil, "Speak properly. "

"Colin! It's not your daughter who died, so of course, you're not anxious!" Neil shouted angrily.

Colin frowned but didn't argue with Neil. He took out his phone, opened the document, and handed it to Justin, who handed it to Alexander and said, "Alexander, you read it."

Alexander took the phone and began reading the text. The content was straightforward, serving more as an accusation against Samantha than evidence. It detailed the entire car accident, from Samantha's initial planning to the meticulously arranged aftermath, leaving no trace of error. The last page of the document included two images: a surveillance photo of Samantha in the lead surgeon's office at night, signing a confidentiality agreement with signatures.

"Perform plastic surgery on Amy and keep it confidential," Alexander read the last line of the agreement.

"And this," Neil said, pressing his phone, which played a recording of Amy talking to Jared in a restaurant. All the evidence, both testimonial and physical, pointed directly to Samantha, leaving her with no room for denial.

"Where did you get these? Are you trying to frame me with forged evidence? Did Beatrice put you up to this?" Samantha shouted emotionally.

Neil rose in fury. "Samantha, we just want to know if you did it. If it was you, why did you do that to my daughter?"

Neil's wife, Karen, cried. "Mrs. Samantha Sinclair, we bear you no grudge nor enmity; why would you do such a thing?"

Amy's mother, Paula, weakly accused, "Mrs. Samantha Sinclair, you separated me from Amy for so many years."

Samantha was being accused by everyone. Alexander suddenly stood up, exuding a fierce aura, and shouted, "Everyone, shut up!"

Lillian looked at Alexander, knowing he was truly angry.

Alexander looked at Neil and Colin and said in a low voice, "A single document and two photos prove nothing. Amy's words prove even less. This happened years ago; such scant evidence can't prove anything!"

Colin asked, "Why don't Amy's words count? She clearly stated your mother's misdeeds!"

Alexander's eyes flashed coldly, and he smirked, "Didn't the person who sent you this information tell you that Amy has bipolar disorder and isn't mentally stable?"

"What?" Paula and Colin exclaimed, "Bipolar disorder? Are you serious?"

Seeing the situation turning, Neil quickly said, "Besides the matter about Amy, Samantha, do you admit to your misdeeds years ago? We didn't call the police or hire a lawyer out of respect for the Sinclair family's status; after all, it wouldn't benefit anyone if this got out! It's been years; we don't want to be aggressive. We just want to know the truth."
