Chapter 75 My First Kiss
After the banquet, Alexander indeed drank too much.
The servants helped him onto the bed in the small building and then left.
Lillian stood with her hands on her hips, feeling a bit dizzy. She couldn't help but think of the times she took care of Adam when he came home drunk at Lisa's house.
She shook her head, not wanting to dwell on those memories. Lillian squatted down to take off Alexander's shoes and socks, murmuring to herself, "You better have a higher alcohol tolerance, unlike Adam, who gets crazy and noisy when he's drunk, or Mr. Wade, who curses at everyone. I'm afraid of you cursing at people."
Lillian stood up and saw that Alexander was lying there with his eyes closed, seemingly calm. She felt relieved and turned around to go to the bathroom to wet a towel and wipe his face.
Maybe feeling the warmth from the towel, Alexander opened his eyes. It was warm and comfortable.
"Is your stomach uncomfortable? Shall I have someone make some chicken soup for you?" Lillian paused, then asked softly.
Alexander, who had been lying face down, suddenly turned over with a charming face. He reached out and covered her face with his hand.
"Hey!" Lillian unhappily slapped his hand away. "What are you doing?"
He grinned foolishly like a madman. Seeing him like this made Lillian furious!
"Please, don't act crazy from drinking. I don't want to see your performance!" Lillian exclaimed.
Alexander staggered up, sat cross-legged on the bed, and then grabbed Lillian's arm, pulling her to face him.
"Come on, as a tradition, you or me first?" Alexander smiled and asked her, then provocatively tilted his chin up at her.
Lillian was confused. "Mr. Sinclair, what tradition? I have no idea!"
"Hehe!" Alexander laughed like a sly fox and pointed at her. "Amy, you've been naughty again, haven't you? Alright, I'll go first." After saying that, he sat there, rolling his eyes, pondering something.
"Amy? Who is that? Your ex-girlfriend?" Lillian frowned at him. "How much did you drink tonight? Are you hallucinating? I seriously suspect you drank fake alcohol."
Alexander coughed lightly and then asked, "Where did we first meet?"
Lillian knew he was asking Amy, but she wasn't Amy, so how would she know?
"I don't know," she replied half-heartedly.
Alexander narrowed his eyes and smiled, then suddenly leaned in, placing his hands on her shoulders, and kissed her on the lips.
This kiss felt like a lightning bolt striking the top of Lillian's head, leaving her stunned! In her mind, she screamed to herself, 'This is my first kiss, my first kiss!'
"What are you doing? Are you crazy?" Lillian angrily shouted at him.
Still immersed in joy, Alexander was startled by her angry roar. He became nervous and then took her hand, placing it over his chest, and carefully asked, "Why are you angry? You haven't answered, I'm not angry."
"Hey!" Lillian pulled her hand away and pointed at her face, saying to him, "Look carefully, who am I?"
Alexander felt somewhat wronged by her shouting. He cupped her face with both hands, examined it closely, and then embraced her again, saying, "You are my treasure, my favorite!"
Once again, she entered his broad embrace, feeling a familiar sense of security that made Lillian feel weak all over. This feeling was truly wonderful, making her not want to leave for a moment.
"Amy, I miss you so much," Alexander leaned his chin on her head and said, "Do you dream of me at night?"
"No," Lillian coldly replied while enjoying his warm and comfortable embrace.
"I know when you say no, it actually means yes," Alexander gently smiled and said, "You always say things to deceive me, but I understand your heart the best."
At this moment, Alexander was truly gentle! Lillian immersed herself in Alexander's tenderness!
In the dark space, occasionally, a voice could be heard from downstairs. Lillian enjoyed this tranquility, embracing each other without speaking.
Suddenly, Alexander sat up, holding her shoulders, and looked at her passionately. His face slowly approached hers, and he kissed her on the lips.
Lillian's mind went blank instantly, and her ears seemed to buzz. 'What's going on? How did we end up kissing?' she thought.
She forcefully pushed Alexander away, then nervously and fearfully looked at him. She had greedily embraced him just now, but she didn't intend to kiss him!
"Mr. Sinclair, I have to tell you," Lillian stuttered. "This wasn't me seducing you. It was you seducing me."
Alexander, who had been pushed down, lay still on the bed, not moving a muscle. Lillian spoke to him, but he didn't react at all.
Curiously, Lillian leaned over to see, and she heard Alexander's steady breathing. He had actually fallen asleep!
Lillian felt relieved, and Alexander finally fell asleep. She wearily lay back, placing her hand on her forehead. "What have I gone through tonight? I'm afraid he won't remember what he did in the morning!"
The next morning, Lillian was woken up by the sunlight outside. She turned over and found herself alone on the large double bed.
She sat up, scratching her head, and looked down at the clothes she hadn't changed from last night, wondering when Alexander left. After taking a shower and getting cleaned up, she put on a white dress and styled her hair into a fishtail braid, looking beautiful and energetic.
At that moment, a servant came to call her for breakfast, and she followed the servant to the downstairs dining room.
When she entered the dining room, only Alexander was present. Samantha and Leah were not present. Lillian felt a little nervous and was about to turn around and leave.
"Come back!" Alexander called out to Lillian. "Why are you running away?"
Lillian turned around but didn't dare to look up at him. The image of their kiss last night kept reappearing in her mind, and unintentionally, her face and neck turned red.
"You go ahead and eat. I'll eat somewhere else," Lillian said softly.
Alexander lowered his head and sipped the seafood soup, then said, "Come here, sit and eat with me."
Lillian stood still. She didn't want to get close to him she just wanted to stay far away from him. The farther, the better.
Lillian thought to herself, 'Why can't my wish be fulfilled? Now he's being so nice, asking me to have a meal with him.'
"What are you waiting for? Didn't you want me to invite you?" Alexander noticed that she was standing there motionless, and his tone became a bit serious.
Lillian had no choice but to sit down and keep some distance from him.
"Mrs. Sinclair, what would you like for breakfast?" the servant asked in a soft voice.
"Oatmeal, please," Lillian said.
"Okay, anything else?"
"No, thank you."
Lillian didn't have much appetite in Aetherland, especially after what happened last night. Sitting with him, she didn't know how to swallow. She lowered her head and prayed in her heart, hoping that he wouldn't ask about last night.
"Last night, I had too much to drink. What did I do?" Alexander asked.
