Chapter 395 Dating an Idol

Tom introduced the two of them again.

"Aaron, this is Wendy."

"Wendy, this is your idol, Aaron."

Wendy looked at Aaron shyly and said, "Hi."

Aaron smiled and nodded, "Hi, Wendy."

Everyone around was watching, especially Caspian, whose eyes made Wendy feel uneasy.

Tom also felt that the crowd was a bit of a nuisance and quickly said, "Let's not stand around here. Give them some space."

Seeing this, Aaron said, "No need for that. Wendy just got up and hasn't had breakfast yet. I'll take her out for breakfast and bring her back afterward."

Tom said, "That sounds great. You can chat while eating."

Caspian gave Tom an annoyed look and said to Aaron, "We have everything to eat at home. No need to go out. You can chat here; we won't disturb you."

Tom said, "How can that be the same? The house is noisy. Can it compare to the elegant environment of a restaurant? Besides, it's the weekend. After they eat, they can catch a movie and take a stroll. How nice is that!"

Aaron smiled and said, "That's exactly what I was thinking!"

Caspian rolled his eyes at Tom and said to Aaron, "You're a celebrity. Is it appropriate to go to the movies? If you walk down the street, won't it cause a traffic jam? I think it's best to chat at home."

Wendy looked at Caspian in confusion. 'Was he trying to obstruct us?' She glanced at Angela, hoping to find an answer.

Angela had a faint mocking smile on her lips and looked at Caspian with a teasing and sarcastic expression.

Aaron smiled nonchalantly and said, "Caspian, that's not a problem. I have my ways."

Caspian let out a breath quietly and said no more.

Alexander said, "Then go early and come back early. Stay for dinner tonight."

Aaron said happily, "Alexander, we haven't had a drink together in years."

Wendy said to Aaron, "I'll go upstairs to get my clothes and bag. Wait for me a moment."

Then, she signaled to Angela and Lillian, and the three of them went upstairs together.

Back in the room, Wendy was getting dressed and asked the two of them puzzledly, "What do you think Caspian meant just now? Why do I feel like he doesn't want me to go out with Aaron?"

"It's normal for Caspian to have such concerns, but saying it out loud can indeed be misunderstood," Lillian said, touching her chin.

Angela tidied Wendy's hair and said, "Don't mind him. What he says is his business. You just focus on having a good date with Aaron and getting to know him better."

Wendy smiled slightly in the mirror, "Okay!"

Since it was the weekend, no one was in a hurry to leave. After Aaron and Wendy left, Tom organized a card game.

"You guys go play. Ivan and I are going to the media room," Angela said, taking Ivan's arm and leaving first.

The men headed to the game room, and Tom put his arm around Caspian's shoulder, teasingly saying, "Caspian, you were acting strange just now!"

"What do you mean strange? How was I strange?" Caspian said with a displeased expression, shaking off Tom's arm.

Tom laughed and said, "Everyone could see it! What's going on between you and Wendy? Are you unhappy about her dating Aaron? Otherwise, why were you the only one to say something?"

"Get lost!" Caspian said stubbornly, "Wendy and I are just friends. What's wrong with asking a few questions? Why do you have so much to say?"

Tom said sarcastically, "Then we must not be good enough friends. We didn't think as thoroughly as you did."

Alexander and Theodore laughed, "Tom, stop teasing him. You know he's just concerned about Wendy as a friend."

"Is it that simple?" Tom pouted, "I still remember what Angela said at dinner last night."

"Shut up!" Caspian said angrily and stormed off.

Theodore said to Tom, "He still has feelings for Evelyn. It's impossible with Wendy."

"Anyway, I think it's weird," Tom said.

Wendy sat in the car, nervously clenching her fists, looking down, and saying nothing.

After taking two phone calls, Aaron turned to her and said gently, "Wendy, you don't need to be nervous. What do you want for breakfast?"

Wendy looked up at him and said, "It's not breakfast time anymore. I'll eat anything. Have you eaten?"

"I haven't either. I know a good restaurant. I'll take you there."

"Okay," Wendy said, then worriedly asked, "Is it okay? What if someone recognizes you?"

"No problem. I know the owner. We'll go in through the back door, and they've reserved a private room for us."

"That's good."

The car drove to a street and stopped. Wendy followed Aaron through the back door into the restaurant, where a waiter led them to a private room.

The environment was elegant and simple.

They ordered a few dishes, which were served quickly, and they chatted while eating.

"Wendy, how old are you? Tom said you work for Evelyn?" Aaron asked.

Wendy nodded, "Yeah, I started working for Ms. Phillips last year. I'm 26."

"I'm two years older than you," Aaron said. "Is your family pressuring you to get married? I'm under a lot of pressure, especially now during Christmas," he said with a helpless smile.

Wendy nodded in agreement, "Yeah, it's like not having a boyfriend at my age is a crime. It kills the mood."

Aaron smiled and asked, "If we were to date, would your parents approve? My job is special, and I can't always be with you."

Wendy sipped her coffee, hesitated for a moment, and asked tentatively, "Aaron, are you satisfied with me?"

"You're great," Aaron praised her. "I like your look; it's my type. You're cute and come from a good background. I'm quite satisfied."

He then laughed at himself and said, "I'm more worried you won't be satisfied with me. My job may seem glamorous, but it's very stressful. When I'm busy, we might not see each other for ten days or more."

He looked at Wendy with deep eyes and said seriously, "Wendy, I think we get along, so let's try spending time together to see if we're compatible."

Wendy looked at him, her heart racing. Dating her idol?

"Okay, let's date," she said.
