Chapter 245 Blake Stirring Up Trouble

Lillian nodded thoughtfully and said, "I understand. I'll stay in my room or keep Grandma company when I'm free."

Seeing Alexander's serious expression, she tentatively asked, "Did Blake and his group do something?"

After thinking carefully about Oscar's incident, she felt that Beatrice and Nico seemed to have deliberately come to tell her about the stabbing in the neighborhood, which made her angry, but she had no evidence.

"There's no need to worry about these things. I'm here," Alexander said, gripping her hand tightly.

When they returned to the Sinclair Villa, it was bustling inside. Justin and Linda were seated in the center, surrounded by their children and grandchildren, enjoying family time.

"Grandma, Grandpa," Alexander and Lillian greeted as they walked in.

Relatives were meeting for the first time, and he introduced them to her one by one.

"Lillian, sit by me," Linda said happily when she saw Lillian, quickly pulling her to sit beside her.

Beatrice, sitting on one side, teased with a smile, "Lillian really knows how to win Mrs. Linda Sinclair over. She gets so happy when she sees you."

"Alexander, you got married so quietly," said Kathy Clark, who lived abroad and was meeting them for the first time.

"Call her aunt Kathy," Linda said to Lillian with a smile, then turned to Kathy and praised her. This is Alexander's wife, Lillian. Lillian is wonderful—beautiful and kind. You should tell Frank to find a girlfriend quickly."

Alexander's cousin Frank was only a year younger than him.

Samantha said, "Frank isn't young anymore. Are there any suitable girls abroad? If not, I can introduce a few when he comes back."

"You still love playing matchmaker. Frank has grown up and doesn't listen to us anymore. I won't interfere; let him be," Kathy said gently, understanding her child, which made Lillian instantly like her.

"Lillian, Nico is chatting over there. Why don't you join them? You might not enjoy our conversation," Beatrice said with a smile.

Remembering Alexander's words, Lillian smiled lightly and said, "Beatrice, it's fine. I enjoy listening to your conversations."

Justin, who was talking to Alexander, stood up and joked, "Lillian, you're affecting their conversation by sitting here. Some things are inconvenient to discuss with you around. You're in your second trimester; you should rest. Lie down in your room."

Lillian suddenly understood and chuckled, saying to Linda, "Grandma, you all chat. I'll go back to my room."

Linda scolded Justin, "What nonsense are you talking about?"

Alexander accompanied Justin and a few cousins to the study. Every year, when he returned from abroad, he gave them a lecture.

Lillian went straight to her room. Passing by the side hall, she heard the noisy chatter inside, frowned, and quickly went upstairs.

staying room was better; she didn't have to face the elders and could do whatever she wanted. She lay on the bed, leisurely playing with her phone, feeling very comfortable.

However, someone always tried to bother her. Nico knocked and came in.

"Lillian?" She asked with a smile at the door. "Can I come in?"

Lillian put down her phone, sat up straight, and said, "Nico, come in."

Nico walked in slowly, holding a paper bag.

"Lillian, I had Blake buy these meat pies for me. I really like them now, and I brought you a few to try."

They sat on the sofa, and Lillian took the bag, saying, "Nico, I don't really like meat right now. Sometimes, I throw up after eating it. Thank you, but you should eat them."

"Oh, I see. Then you better not eat them," Nico said, looking at their bumps. "I'm seven months pregnant, and our bumps are about the same size. You're carrying twins, so it'll be even harder in the later stages."

Lillian said, "It's fine as long as I don't move around." She responded lightly, not knowing what Nico was up to. She pretended to look at her phone and sent a message to Alexander on Facebook.

Soon, Samantha came in, saw the two sitting on the sofa, smiled, and asked, "What are you talking about?"

"Blake bought me some meat pies, and I brought a few for Lillian," Nico said. "You two chat; I'll head out."

Samantha nodded, watched her leave, and asked Lillian, "Just that?"

"Yes, she wasn't here for ten minutes before you came," Lillian said. "Mom, did Alexander ask you to come?"

Samantha pondered for a moment, seemingly talking to herself, "In Sinclair Villa, they wouldn't dare act rashly."

Lillian agreed, "I think so too. With Grandpa and Grandma here, they wouldn't be foolish enough to do something bad."

"You don't know anything," Samantha scolded, then said, "Lie down on the bed. Call me if you need anything. Alexander is with Mr. Justin Sinclair in the study. Don't disturb him."

"I understand," Lillian replied weakly.

Nico left with the paper bag and went to an empty room, placing the bag on the table. She said to Blake, "She didn't eat it."

"That's Good. She wasn't supposed to eat the meat pies anyway. Did you sprinkle the powder?" he asked urgently.

Nico showed him the powder in her hand and said, "I didn't have time. Samantha came in, almost as if she was there to stop me."

She then added, "Blake, this is Sinclair Villa. It's too dangerous to act against Lillian here. If Mom finds out, she won't agree either."

Blake, eyes filled with hatred, gritted his teeth and said, "They all went to the study and excluded me! Don't I deserve respect? Isn't this clearly targeting me?"

"Honey, calm down and lower your voice," Nico said, covering his mouth.

Blake pulled her hand away and said angrily, "Now everyone is focused on Alexander's child. Does that mean our child doesn't matter? If they want Alexander's child to be born, then I will stop it from happening! So what if I act in Sinclair Villa? They can't be able to find any evidence, so they can't blame me!"

He was really furious. Every time there was a lecture, he was excluded, making him humiliate in front of his brothers. Although he was the eldest son, no one acknowledge him. Behind his back, they still called him a love child, which was a huge humiliation for him. Nothing was more serious than this!

"Honey, calm down. I know you're angry, but we need to think long-term. Getting rid of Lillian's child isn't urgent. So what if Grandpa didn't call you to the study? How many more years can he live? Mom said Dad is the one we should care about. Grandpa doesn't decide who gets the shares," Nico advised gently.

But Blake, in his anger, ignored Nico's words, determined to cause trouble today!
